| Well, welcome here to SOA. I reviewed this there on FFN, and am glad to see it shared here as well. A lovely idea, and very similar to the idea of memorial boats sent out on the Hobbit day of memories as Lindelea has pictured it, and the wish boats sent out on the eve of marriages as described in Lindethuvial's story of Eomer courting Eowyn. Author Reply: I have not read either of those authors yet, but will look for them ASAP. :) My family wanted to actually do this, as we live by the Stillwater River but at the Solstice and the New Year, the river was in flood stage from torrential rains and snowmelt and we didn't dare approach it then. We are still hoping to send out belated wishes downstream when the river is once more safe to wade in. :) Thank you for reading and reviewing! | |

| How lovely to think that the Gondorian tradition is now followed in the Shire! And some day, a former Thain and Master will be in Gondor once more, to follow this same tradition! These were all lovely little stories, and I am so glad you are now numbered among the writers here. Author Reply: Thank you! :) I am thinking about writing about that...
