| A lesser man than Aragorn might have let his rival, already so close to death, slip away, thereby helping to assure that his claim to Gondor's crown would meet scant opposition. Luckily, Aragorn was no ordinary man; and could rise above such pettiness. Well-written look at a crucial moment in the history of Gondor. | Excellent and very amusing drabble - who knew that Sauron had a sense of humor! He does, I suppose, as long as he laughs last. Poor Denethor's not laughing at all.
