Yes, our Aragorn Elessar in the bosom of his family. Author Reply: I love imagining him having his well deserved happiness.

Aragorn would probably miss the freedom he enjoyed as a wandering Ranger; but there are compensations, and hearth & home & Evenstar can make it all worthwhile. Author Reply: I think Aragorn must at times feel conflicted but hopefully it is all worthwhile for him to exchange freedom for the crown and Arwen.(and knowing Faramir too,of course!)

This is one of my favorite of your drabbles - we can feel Faramir's contentment and the beauty of the princedom he rules. Well done! Author Reply: Thank you, I'm pleased you like it.It is funny how things sometimes turn out as I dashed this off in ten minutes on my way to bed as I wanted a true drabble for the Faramir fics contest!

And I see why it would have won had there been five times the number. Yes! This I can so see, Linda. You are another who does well with drabbles, unlike me! Author Reply: Thank you so much.It took me years to try writing a drabble as I was sure I couldn't do it,then the drabble Muse bit me and I've written about 60.Beware,it might strike you one day !

And a deserved win I say even if there had been thirty entries. (Said in my most loyal Sam voice as I didn't see the other entries! *g*) Author Reply: Thank you so much,my loyal Sam !I liked the 2nd placed entry, but didn't read the 3rd being the sort I avoid.

He too would build his own home soon at Emyn Arnen and nest there with his fair lady. Green was her favourite colour, the hue of her people’s banners. Faramir is so full of hope, his life so changed. What a wonderful way to write his joy. Author Reply: Thank you, i'm pleased you liked this.Faramir always seems a character full of hope.

Wonderful as ever. I can see the glow of the fire and Faramir's eyes brightened by his friends words, because his heart knows them to be the absolute truth... If only this beautiful and brave soul could be unburdened from the memories of his heartless father... Author Reply: Thank you for your much appreciated review. I'm delighted you could visualise this scene so well.Faramir is indeed a special soul who now has a chance to flourish.
