Poor Frodo! :) Not fair, indeed! *stamps foot in shared indigination*

How about Frodo and Feanor meeting? Now that I would like to see, both being possessed by their possessions. I've got an idea about that, but it's a very shy bunny who normally like to do nothing but hide under the bed.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Okay, let's see how well you can coax that particular plot bunny out to display itself. And so glad you enjoyed this one.

p.s. would have to add my Denny to the list, the "alternate reality" Denny, that is, except that he'd be cracking jokes and punning and teaching the youngsters how to gamble and quite disrupting the place. Perhaps it's a good thing after all that he wasn't killed off in "Glisters".

Author Reply: Perhaps that's precisely what that particular hall needs--a bit of earthiness added to it.

Love to the Hobbitlings and the Hubby and Zoe.

*speechless*

*snorking*

brilliant. quite brilliant. hats off to you. *g*

Author Reply: Thanks, Lindelea. That's praise indeed!

Larner, the ideas you come up with for this one are priceless! By the time I reached Cedric I was laughing, and couldn't truly stop during the rest of the fic.

Nasty thing to do--kill me just like that before I’d had a chance to be taken by that Ring, after all *snicker* What a thing to complain about! Every sensible hobbit should have been *glad* about it!

Hmmm ... why do I get the feeling Frodo will not be very happy there and go on soon, save he gets to know some who suffered at the hands of Sauron and Morgoth, too, and not only had to look pitiful to get there? After his talk with Tiny Tim and the Little Match Girl he has to feel rather out of place!

Author Reply: So glad this gave you a good laugh. Sometimes absurd thoughts hit me, and this one's been working on me for several days.

I get the feeling Deagol's not too terrifically bright--please forgive him! ;->

Now the older grandson wants me to continue on with it, for he hates feeling a story ends too abruptly.

Poor Frodo; this bunch of hapless innocents isn't up to snuff, or so he thinks.

Though he might be unwise to make condescending remarks that include "Miss Nienor", considering who her brother is. I wouldn't want Turin angry with me, even in the Halls of Mandos.

Perhaps Mandos can set it up so that Frodo bunks with Finrod!

Author Reply: Actually, he never made a condescending remark toward Miss Nienor, particularly as it was Tiny Tim who used that title for her. Don't know that he felt these weren't up to snuff as much as the fact he had to go through SO much to get here, and all this poor kid had to do was appear pitiable! Although I'm certain you're right about Turin's likelihood of avenging any perceived slight toward his sister.

As for Frodo bunking with Finrod.... HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! That would be something!

Hahaha! That's actually rather funny. :) Poor Frodo, no wonder he feels a bit upset. If all he had to do was look pitiable...he could have just broken his leg saving Sam or something and that would have done it. :) ANyways, great job.
Yours,
Frodo Baggins

Author Reply: Yes, a mere broken leg would have been far easier to deal with! Glad to give you a grin.

ROFLMAO!! Sensitive bloke indeed! Well, let's see...I might have added the Little Mermaid, who went through the wringer for some damn stupid prince who didn't appreciate her in the end and so she died for love...but then someone reincarnated her as Anemone and she and Frodo got married and lived happily ever after, so scratch her....ok yeah, in the department of Martyred Innocence he has no equal....I think.......

Author Reply: Yes, she would have done well here; but you're right--she made out so well in the end! So glad it gave you a good laugh. I needed one myself today, I realized.

LOL Bravo! I agree completely with Frodo on this one. There need to be different wings for different levels of suffering. Frodo may need his own wing.

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed it, GW. I found I needed a laugh today, and hoped to give one to others as well. So glad it's done its job! And they do need a special one just for Frodo, don't they? Heh!

DreamflowerReviewed Chapter: 3 on 7/6/2007
I'm with Frodo! *NOT* fair indeed! Perhaps he needs to have a chat with Dumbledore, who might remind him of Gandalf. Let's see--who's suffered a lot? Little Nell, maybe? Or Anakin Skywalker? Of course, he brought most of his suffering on himself, but I don't suppose he had it easty...

Of course! From his *own* universe: TURIN!

Author Reply: I'd originally thought of adding in Helen from "Jane Eyre" and Little Nell and Nancy from "Oliver Twist," but thought better of it.

But certainly Turin would be there from his own universe! Heh!

Hope it gave you a giggle this morning.
