| Finally Menegilda understood that there needs to be a change - and I'm glad Bilbo insisted upon it. Things will go up for Frodo from now on. | Frodo rose, moved suddenly forward, and then was folding her in his arms, and she realized he was weeping--weeping tears of happiness. Yay! Bless that old hobbit. :) Author Reply: Yes, definitely not a moment too soon. And at last Menegilda herself has accepted she's gone too far, and that Frodo needs this, as does Esme.
