| What's wrong with frivolous? I've enjoyed it. Oh yes, I can see why Arwen and particularly Éowyn are irritated with all these Ladies, and Aragorn and Faramir with the Lords. They must have enjoyed these hours of leisure very much. And I loved the easy banter and the interaction between the four. But you know that calls for a sequel? Now I want to know more about the conspiracy and how they dealt with the conspirators! Author Reply: Frivolous is fun - somehow I can feel their delight in the warmth of the sun and the pleasure of being away from the big city. I do feel that after a few weeks of total excitement and glory, there would have been a reaction - and Gondor was a very old society with a very good opinion of itself and its glory. While Faramir would have been open to change, I suspect there would have been very many people of power who began to question the right of the new regime to exist. And Aragorn won't have imposed his presence with an iron fist - so not that kind of man. Sequel? Never say never ... Nothing planned at the moment, but once the voices start talking, there's no knowing what might happen! | |

| Oh, just lovely...such a lazily delightful picture as it creates, particularly the men coming back dripping wet--not sure which of those women I'd rather be!;) and what's wrong with frivolous anyway? I can just see Eowyn amongst all those snooty highborn ladies, and their reaction to her...therein lies a tale perhaps? I think I'll be her:D..... ~~~{~@ Author Reply: M'mm, yes. Wet Aragorn and Faramir is rather fun to imagine! And I can see that the two men wouldn't exactly be keen on seeing their ladies disport themselves in the water under the eyes of their guards! Different rules apply. It was fun to write something that was simply lazing about in the sun and being friends. I don't think the snooty highborn ladies would like either Eowyn or Arwen. Although they would probably be pretty cautious about showing their dislike. If they were sensible. Could make an interesting story - an all-female one, too, which would be a very interesting exercise! | |

| This was very enjoyable. Of course, you know you can't just leave it here. I want to find out about the conspiracy and how they flush it out, etc. *grin* I really like the way you write these characters. Thanks for sharing! Author Reply: Thank you! Oh dear - there seems to be a trend of thought that says I can't leave this here!! I haven't got anything planned at the moment - but that doesn't mean I won't. Never say never, as James Bond put it.
