Trouble  by Bodkin 18 Review(s)

I am giggling, of course. Ah, what an influence on Elrond's sons Glorfindel is proving, complete with garlic! And the characterization of the one elleth as more successful because she has sharper elbows--how wonderful! I love it!

Now, to see how he brings the twins back--uneaten! Heh!

This was hilarious! :D Great bits of business all through this.

The opening scene could not have been more entertaining. LOL! A very enjoyable depiction of the Lady of Imladris and her powers. Although, I would assume some of her techniques, such as circling to intimidate and undermining the opposition's unity, came from her dad. ;)

One wishes all the twins adventures could be this sort of fun. It probably is the contrast to their other masculine duties that makes this so delightful.

Loved how you threw in a cat reference!
Thanks to BC for having a birthday!

Oh, how funny! This is so great! I hope it isn't over yet. And I abowsiutely loved this paragraph:

"He cringed a little. Elrond’s wife had a nasty tongue on her when roused – and she was most definitely roused. It was at times like these that he found himself trying to work out her exact degree of relationship with Fëanor – and it usually turned out to be a good deal closer than made him comfortable."

This is so classic, so amazingly funny!

Well done! I love reading your works. You're such a fun writer.

Funny story, Bodkin! Celebrian is hilariously threatening so that even Glorfindel treads carefully. I liked the cat/mouse image at the end. Who'd have thought the Balrog Slayer would be the one in the rodent position?

Absolutely perfect, lol...thank you!

I can just SEE that herd of conniving females bearing down on them, *chortles*
Celebrian's solution of the punishment fitting the crime is too funny, and Elrond's conspicuous absence while justice is meted out just makes it that much better! Out of the frying pan, into the fire...

Still grinning,

Cat

Celebrían is just marvellous here! Even though the twins are near grown, she can still intimidate them with a single look - and Glorfindel really should take his cue from them. Here, the twins know best. I love their instinctive half-step backwards when Glorfindel is foolish enough to argue!

I love her observation that 'a nebulous doom was so much more worrying.' She really is her mother's daughter, isn't she?

I think the tale of their visit to Mithlond would be most interesting ...

A great tale, Bodkin!

LOLOLOL!

Very funny, Bodkin! Just goes to show, boys will be boys.... even if they are thousands of years old. ;-)

Well done!
