Hurray EI is back ;)
I feel so sorry for the elves left behind, seeing your childeren/friends dissapear like that.
You just gotta love Beleg and the way he acts. His reaction is great, he trusts Namo but let clearly showing he is none to pleased with what happened.
Glorfindel and Finrod have been wisked off to the tenth dimension heh? I hope for the Valar's sake Eru knows what he's doing and they will not destroy it ... I mean ... it is Glorfindel and Finrod we are talking about *grin*
Can wait for more to come.

Author Reply: Beleg is pretty cool and I look forward to writing more about him in this tale. And I don't think there's much in the tenth dimension that Finrod and Glorfindel can destroy.... but then again.... *grin*

Yeah finally!!!!!!!!!!I guess Finrod's gonna need some patience dealing with Glorfi!I really feel sorry for Finrod....hehe......

Author Reply: Finrod, of course, is the soul of patience, but even he might find himself wanting to kill Glorfi before the end. *grin*

Ah, your interweaving is masterful. After all, Namo discovered the tenth dimension! Heh!

Poor families are stymied, and with reason!

Author Reply: Thanks, Larner. I'm glad you find my interweaving of stories and plots masterful. *grin* The poor families are stymied indeed and the Valar are a bit nonplussed themselves. Hopefully all will be resolved soon.

EI is back! Yay! Had really counted the days :-)

I feel so sorry for Arafinwë; for him it has to be the hardest, seeing his sons vanishing and not knowing where they are ... poor guy.
Loved Beleg's reaction! Very well put - trusting Námo, but expressing his displeasure about the situation. The ellon is quite the diplomat, isn't he?

So Glorfindel and Finrod truly ended up in the tenth dimension? After reading 'Wars' I had suspected it. And the Valar can't simply take them by the arm and bring them back like they did when they escaped in the past? Hm ... that will be interesting! And Atar had a hand in this? I wonder why he did that.

Ha - I can't wait for more! That will be fun!

Author Reply: Yes, Arafinwë is having a hard time of it, especially when the Valar won't tell him where they are only that they are safe, which is no comfort at all. And Beleg is quite the diplomat, isn't he? *grin*

I'm sure anyone who has read 'Wars' will recognize the tenth dimension here, especially when I have the Valar meet there at one point during the tournament to discuss the effects of the tourney on some of the Reborn. With those who went into the past, like Ingwë and Glorfindel, only their fëar traveled into the past, but Finrod and Glorfindel are in the tenth dimension bodily and that's different. A solution will come though. As for why Atar intervened, Námo will explain to Finrod and Glorfindel in the next chapter.

Glad you enjoyed this first chapter. Thanks for reviewing.

The tenth dimension!!!! What are they doing there?! :( *hugs her favorite elves* And was that last line Lord Namo??? They *did* say his name. Didn't they? And oh, the poor kings having to go through all that especially Arafinwe! Losing his sons all over again :( *sniff*

You made me cry, Fiondil!!!! Now I HAVE to have the next chapter so I know they'll be all right! Although, if that IS Namo, of COURSE they're going to be all right, because Namo is...

Well, he's Namo. And that makes him the best ever. ^_^

*hugs the elves*

*Hugs the Valar*

*Hopes Namo can keep my favorite elves from starving*

Please update soon, please!

Please please please please please please please...

~Kaylee!!!~

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Well, as to what they're doing in the tenth dimension, they're staying out of trouble (we hope). LOL The next chapter will be forthcoming, never fear.

LOL! Well, this was a wonderful thing to come home to, even if I was a bit miffed I couldn't read it right away. *grins and cheers* HURRAY! Is it Palm Sunday already? Wow how time flies.

Marvellous opening sequence here. I loved the jumping back and forth between perspectives. And Beleg's response! Love that ellon. So...direct yet respectful. *grin* I'm assuming even to this day the Maiar have not been told about the tenth dimension? I noticed they were absent for certain discussions. I am wondering how Finrod and Glory will get home again. I look forward to seeing how the Valar do it.

"Did someone mention my name?"

LOL! Great ending for this chapter! I was wondering when he'd show up over there. *grin*

M. will be so happy when she gets home tomorrow. I'm sure my moving will be disrupted to read this to her. She's been quite impatient. LOL

*applauds* I love it! Can't wait for more!

Author Reply: Guess you got to read it sooner than you thought, huh? *grin* Glad you liked this first chapter. Beleg.... well, he just grows on you, doesn't he? And no, the Maiar have not yet been told about the tenth dimension. That is the Valar's little secret. Although it won't be long as they measure time before the Maiar learn of the tenth dimension first hand but that, as they say, is another story altogether. *grin*

So, say hello to M. and tell her that while this chapter is rathe short, there's more to come. Thanks for reviewing.

Oh good, I was going through Elf Interrupted withdrawals.

It will be interesting indeed to see how the Valar get the pair of them back, especially without Atar's help.

Thanks so much for the update.

Lyn

Author Reply: Hi Lyn. Well now you no longer have to suffer from withdrawal. *grin* The how and the whys of getting Finrod and Glorfindel back will be very interesting indeed but you'll have to wait to see.

Oh, goody, Elf, Interrupted is back. I have been looking forward to this, let's hope Manwe and Co. can find the way back for them. I thought, maybe, they had gone back in time to when Aman was first constructed before Yvanna(sp)? sang the birds and beasts in to being.
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: No, they aren't back in time, merely in a different dimension and their being there will be important for the future of Middle-earth, at least for those of Aman. And it's Yavanna, in case you're wondering. *grin*
