What a good idea to take Aragorn to the Hobbits' tent.I eagerly await more as your stories are always a joy! Author Reply: Thank you, Linda. Yes, I think everyone should share a tent. Better make sure it's a large one... :D

Well done Frodo. I bet parts of his anatomy are just a little sore to say the least so the story that Eomer wants to spread won't be entirely untrue! Author Reply: That story will definitely have the ring of truth! :)

“We’re wasting time,” Frodo said in frustration. “Bring him to our tent.” Great idea! And I just love it when Frodo uses his commanding voice, even if he speaks to famous elves and a real king! "Just Éomer, please," the young man said gently. "I am not your king, Frodo. I scarcely feel as if I am anyone’s king." And I loved Eomer's reply. He's doing his best to adjust to his new position, but I can understand that it still feels odd to him ;-) Last, but not least Aragorn will receive the best care possible - by the hobbits AND his brothers. I hope he will feel better soon. Although, I have the feeling that his illness will be difficult to diagnose. But you won't do him any harm, will you? Author Reply: Goodness, I would *never* do him harm I think Frodo is, at his core, a very determined hobbit, whose long healing sleep has done him a world of good. It's great fun exploring the take-charge, "Master of Bag End" side of him. :)

I don't think we've moved much off this cliff! :) But help has arrived so that is good and I'm sure Frodo will soon be on the receiving end of many hugs which is even better :) :) Namarie, God bless, Antane Author Reply: You don't suppose Frodo wanders towards those cliffs just to get lots of hugs, do you? Nawww, couldn't be. :)

LOL, I love the way Legolas thinks. And of course, I love that Elladan and Elrohir are the ones who went to get their little brother, the king. :>) Author Reply: Legolas may be 'young', but he's no fool. A little honest subterfuge is always fun. :)

Poor Aragorn! What is wrong with him that even he doesn't know? I hope they aren't doing the wrong thing by keeping it a secret. *worry worry* Excellent chapter! I can't wait for the next one. Author Reply: Thank you. I'm having such fun thinking about this story. How often does Aragorn get to be worried about and fussed over? :)

“Just Éomer, please,” the young man said gently. “I am not your king, Frodo. I scarcely feel as if I am anyone’s king; but I will do my best, as will Aragorn.” I love how you write Éomer here... and Legolas' way to speak the truth without really telling it makes me smile. Very Jesuit-ish. *wide grin* Author Reply: Thanks, Mona. I think that over the long lifetime of an elf, he or she would probably be able to draw on many past experiences to assess a situation quickly. For them, there is probably very little new under the Sun!

Oh, this is going to be And poor Aragorn, he'll have to put up with hobbits putting blankets on him, and snuggling with him and feeding him and telling him stories and generally coddling him to within an inch of his life. Such a fate! ;-) I like the reasons Eomer thought it important to keep the new king's illness a secret. He would know better than anyone how quickly gossip could spread insecurity! I also loved Frodo thanking Roheryn at the end--so nice, and very Frodo-ish! *rubs hands in anticipation*grin*hobbits looking after Aragorn...* Author Reply: Yes, poor Aragorn. Hobbit cuddling and comfort and blankets... life can be so cruel. Thank you, Dreamflower! :D
