Healing the Healer  by Linda Hoyland 30 Review(s)

LOL!!! Oh I know it is wrong to laugh at him and Chicken Pox is not a minor ailment for an adult, but it is funny! I expect being isolated in Imlardris as he was, he was not exposed to a lot of childhood ailments, I wonder what is next, not Mumps I hope, that can cause sewllings in most inapropriate places, considering he and Arwen plan on having more children!
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Don't worry he won't get mumps as I hope they will have more children too and have already written stories about their next one!I had chickenpox myself at the ripe old age of 39,so know it is no fun for Aragorn.

Oh dear, chickpox isn't going to go down well at all. I foresee lots more problems for the two carers before this clears up!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. You are quite right.I don't envy Arwen and Faramir at all!

Oh gods, Arwen is right - Aragorn really acts like a child *g*. I think she and Faramir are in for a hard time. Man and most of all healers are the worst patients. Like this story very much and I´m eager to see how our "poor and near dying" King will overcome this. Thank you Lai.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review > I agree poor Arwen and faramir are in for a very hard time.I'm delighted you are enjoying the story.

Uh-oh; Aragorn's in trouble now. Something tells me he's going to continue to be a very recalcitrant patient!

Good chapter; update soon!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review my only one so far of this chapter here.I fear Aragorn,Arwen and Faramir are all in for a hard time!

EstelcontarReviewed Chapter: 1 on 11/18/2008
It seems healers are not indeed the best patients in the world. Poor Faramir is in for a horrible time, I see.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I feel very sorry for both Faramir and Arwen.

Stubborn man! Doctors often make the worst patients, and he's proving the old adage true! Come, now, Elessar--let your wife do what she knows ought to be done! Heh!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Argorn is indeed proving the saying true and things will get worse before they improve. Poor Arwen!

JancyReviewed Chapter: 1 on 11/16/2008
Oh dear. What did Aragorn catch? I know it can't be what his son has--chickenpox only affects children. Poor man. I hope he feel better soon!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Aragorn does indeed have chicken pox.I caught it when I was 39,so adults can get it unfortunately.

inzilbethReviewed Chapter: 1 on 11/16/2008
So we have a very impatient patient. Something tells me Faramir and Arwen are going to be in for a very difficult time.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I almost called this story "the Impatient Patient"! I don't envy Faramir and Arwen at all.

harrowcatReviewed Chapter: 1 on 11/16/2008

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased this made you smile. Arwen and Faramir are in for a difficult time!

Well they do say Doctors or healers make the worst patients and men are worst of all, they all seem to revert to childhood!
