| Oh, I just love Elrond here - his power, his patience, his love. No-one else could have called Aragorn back from the dark place where he'd hidden himself. Author Reply: Thank you, Jay! I agree... Elrond was the only hope Aragorn had, really, because as strong as he was, there was a limit to how much healing of the BB he could have managed on his own, especially weakened as he was by fever and infection. Aragorn still has much healing to go, but at least the BB is gone. Thanks for reviewing! | |

| Finally, I'm so glad that it is over, what a terrible nightmare, Elrond is amazing, so much love and concern, the end is so emotional, it is truly a father and a son, beautiful...It is so heratbreaking the blind trust that a child has in his parents, I have a three years old girl and every time that she looks to me for help it make me feel like I can die for her, it is so hard to see your own child suffering, it doesn't matter how old he is, I can feel Elrond emotions...so,Thursday? Thanks, Fantasia Author Reply: Thank you, Fantasia--I'm glad you liked this chapter, and yes, finally Aragorn is freed from the shadow gripping him! And yes, Elrond too was really put through the wringer in this. To have to treat your own son for something you pray would never happen... goodness, that would be hard. | AMG! That was awesomeness on a stick! I loved this chapter so much- it was really wonderful. Elrond and Aragorn need to talk over Arwen one of these days. Author Reply: LOL! Awesomeness on a stick... that's a first for me. LOL Thank you! I really do wish Aragorn and Elrond had worked it out between them, but alas, they never did. | This chapter was definitely worth waiting for. I've read couple of fics that had Elrond doing something similar for Aragorn, but it's been too long since I last read one so poignant and beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes.
