Good King of Cats  by Linda Hoyland 12 Review(s)

Aragorn, cats, and hobbits -- wonderful combination!

I enjoyed Minto's having "especially hairy feet."

Hopefully Peony will someday make the connection between the Big Person in her barn and the new king....

Not only is Peony a Baggins (Frodo's third cousin), but her husband Milo is Frodo's first cousin (his mother's sister's son), Merry's father's first cousin, and Pippin's father's second cousin (on the Took side -- one of the Old Took's daughters having married into the Brandybucks).

This is so lovely. I'm happy Strider found comfort with the hobbits and their compassionatee kitty.

“Marmalade likes him so he must be a good sort,” said a small Hobbit girl.

Awwww. :)
