Aragorn, cats, and hobbits -- wonderful combination! I enjoyed Minto's having "especially hairy feet." Hopefully Peony will someday make the connection between the Big Person in her barn and the new king.... Not only is Peony a Baggins (Frodo's third cousin), but her husband Milo is Frodo's first cousin (his mother's sister's son), Merry's father's first cousin, and Pippin's father's second cousin (on the Took side -- one of the Old Took's daughters having married into the Brandybucks). Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed the story.I don't often write Hobbits, so you will know the family trees much better. I will add this interesting information to my notes, thanks.

This is so lovely. I'm happy Strider found comfort with the hobbits and their compassionatee kitty. “Marmalade likes him so he must be a good sort,” said a small Hobbit girl. Awwww. :) Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed the story.I@m glad to have some Hobbits for you at long last!
