| I cannot wait until Frodo is the recipient of some good old-fashioned mothering (and you do know how to ratchet up anticipation, my dear!) at the hands of Adamanta. I love the idea of a hobbit potluck, and you've really outdone yourself by giving us a glimpse of the one thing in Arda that must be better than hobbit cooking: Maia-in-hobbit-form cooking!! I would almost request a recipe!fic for the occasion of the dinner, but I'm afraid anything we mortal Men (or Women) have come up with wouldn't do such a fictional dinner justice. Author Reply: It's hard not to leave minor cliffies when you are restricted to telling the story in 300 word chunks, LOL! But they will get to see just what kind of a cook she is! We will begin to get some of her story as she cooks for them... *grin* I was tempted to *do* a recipe!fic for the occasion, but I think it would be cheating on my word-count. *sigh* | |
