*Grrrr...* Ooh, Lobelia! I know that JRRT gave her a chance at redemption at the end of her life, which was I am sure of great benefit to her. But for all the people she had hurt throughout her life, I think it was too little, too late. But I'm glad that Frodo and Esme were together when they heard that. Both of them know the truth. Author Reply: Oh, yes--trust Lobelia Sackville-Baggins to be hateful! Esme doesn't know for certain that Lobelia has her locket, but she'll find out one day! Now, to get this one sent to the lists! Thanks so much, Dreamflower!

Oh, that nasty piece of work! I'm absolutely sure Lobelia herself has stolen the locket! In fact, wasn't there in an earlier story something along that line, though I can't remember if it was Esmeralda or Eglantine? Anyway, to blame Frodo was absolutely mean and left me furious. Sadly I can't post my opinion of her here, SoA is a family friendly site, after all ;( Author Reply: Yes, this was detailed in "Second Mum." Indeed, Lobelia was a real piece of work! And it made you that angry? Obviously I'm doing something right in my writing! Thanks so, Kitty!

It is great that Aragorn gets to show Arwen arround, and that they are all alive so he can do so, Author Reply: Oh, yes--that is one thing I'm certain even he must have wondered thirteen months earlier whether or not they would all survive! Thanks so, Grumpy! Always a joy to hear from you!

That's neat that a grove of athlelas would be there now. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: I like to think that this site might have its share of blessing! Thank you so, Antane.

How wonderful. I love the idea of Aragorn re-visiting Cormallen with his Queen. I hope this special place is never forgotten. Author Reply: In my-verse a guesthouse is built at Cormallen for those who come here on pilgrimage to honor those who recovered here. Am so glad you like it. Hope your birthday has been wonderful!

Just the perfect time to revisit Cormallen and to remember these early days after Sauron's fall. And how poignant that so much athelas is now growing there! Author Reply: I would think this place would carry a special blessing at least for a time, and what better sign of that blessing than athelas, right? Thanks so, Kitty!

As sad as it is that Primula lost so many children - it's just perfect that these tiny garments now find a purpose, however late, and through someome so dear to Frodo no less! Author Reply: Yes, indeed just right that these at last come to those who will wear them with pride. Thank you so, Kitty!

It really should not have needed Frodo to explain to the lawyers how these contracts were used by Lotho to trick others. Well, I guess Bard and Hilly were so used to the language that they didn't really pay attention to these little details that didn't really fit in with the case ... No wonder poor Frodo got so agitated that they didn't understand without him pointing things out! Author Reply: You are right, but human nature being what it is, some need to have what ought to be obvious spelled out to them. And having figured out just how Lotho managed to cheat this family must have made Frodo the angrier, on top of having to explain what Hilly and Bard ought to have figured out on their own. Thanks so, Kitty.

Ah, lovely glimpse of Aragorn with his lady, walking through memories and sharing what he could of the wonder of those moments at Cormallen. Author Reply: Indeed, Cairistiona. This is bringing it all back to Aragorn in a vivid way, allowing him to describe it the more vividly to Arwen. Thanks so!
