At first I thought, Legolas would be completely under the spell of those Voices before he could say anything to Aragorn! Fortunately, I was wrong!

It's getting more and more dangerous...

I'm looking forward to reading more!

Author Reply: Yes, like Legolas told Pippin, the way is dangerous...

And thank you! I'm so very pleased you want to see more of this story!!

Finally Aragorn will be told about the strange things that are going on! Hopefully the Fellowship can work together to resolve all the conflict and find a way out of the darkness.

Author Reply: I'm sure they will, but first they're gonna have a lot more surprises! Thank you so much for your continued support, Shirebound!!

This is getting scary! And now I'm going to going to be hanging off this cliff for quite some time since reading fic is one of the things I am giving up for Lent. But look forward to reading more afterwards! Glad to see another chapter up and that Legolas is finally going to tell Aragorn what's going on.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: And it will be even scarier soon! Have a good Lenten season and I'll look forward to hearing what you think of the next chapter after Easter. Thanks so much for commenting!!

What are those stones?? I'm getting nervous for everyone, especially trapped in a cave. Hopefully some light can soon be shed on the mysteries.

*frets*

Author Reply: More answers - and mysteries - coming soon! *Big Grin*

Wow! How could I miss a story like this one?

Gandalf settled by the fire with his pipe and watched Sam out of the corner of his eye. Something strange was about, that much was certain.

Something strange, indeed!

On the one hand it seems that Frodo's and Pippin's dreams are strangely alike. But on the other hand those stones seem to be *alive*!
Merry has got one of Pippin's missing stones. So, where's the other one? Maybe in Legolas' possession?

I'm looking forward to reading more.

Author Reply: Andrea, your comments really made me smile - thank you! I hope you'll continue to enjoy "Quest"!

Are these blue stones, like the Ring, seeking to put themselves into the hands of those who will do what purpose has been placed on them? What will Merry do? And does Legolas have one of them now? Curious!

Author Reply: I think you're on to one of the important keys, Bonnie. But, there's a bit more to the stones' purpose.

Indeed, this second cave since they started into the mountains does seem particularly fortuitous--I only hope it isn't ominous! And the stones still feel off somehow, and particularly as Frodo finds his dreams ominous but Pippin is intrigued by his own--mostly. Best speak of it soon!

Author Reply: Pippin will understand more about the stones, and the dreams, as the story progresses!

Those dreams at the beginning were well done, the best part here. And now Legolas is hearing the voice too...hmmm...the plot thickens... And that was good of Aragorn to put that sleeping draught into Frodo's food, even if a bit sneaky, but a good sneaky.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thanks, Antane. I worked a lot on getting te dream sequences right so It's especially nice to hear that. Of course, it helps to have such a wonderful beta as Dreamflower, too!!

Wow! Things just keep getting more complicated. I do hope that Gandalf can figure things out. I am looking forward to the next chapters.

Author Reply: Thank you so much again!

The tension continues to build. Gandalf's words at the end are the perfect conclusion for this ominous chapter. I do hope someone gets Pippin to tell all soon.

Author Reply: *Grin* Thank you! I think Pippin and the others are in for quite an adventure as events progress.
