| Oh, what a glorious tale! You worked so hard to bring us the conclusion for Yule, and I've enjoyed every bit of it. | On reading this chapter, I think I was nearly as choked up as Denlad when he got the Star! Wonderful chapter, I felt I was there. Wonderful story altogether! Author Reply: Thank you, BeeGee! | O, I love this. Aragorn's interaction with his people just fits - a mix of much humour and tradition. You can easily see that he loves them and they love him in return. And I agree with Halbarad that he gives a fine speech. ;) Author Reply: Thank you, Vilwarin! I'm so glad you enjoyed this... I do think Aragorn likely was the most beloved of all the chieftains, and I tried to show some of that with this chapter, even though the focus was more on Denlad's situation than Aragorn's. I'm glad you found I was able to show that mutual love between Aragorn and his people even while writing from Denlad's POV, because that's a vital part of Aragorn's background.
