The Sell-sword and the Prince  by Lady Bluejay 58 Review(s)

I'm glad to see some thawing of relations here, and Imrahil beginning to realize there is more to this man than there seems. Now, to see how he like the companion! Heh!

Author Reply: The Companion? You think she's important do you? LOL

Thanks a lot for reviewing. LBJ

Alas, such a long time to wait as so many fates to unfold before Imrahil sees Thorongil again and the mystery is resolved. Nevertheless, I am very much looking forward to rest of this story and any thing else you care to write for us.

Thankyou Lady Bluejay.

Author Reply: Yes, the after a short visit to the Pelennor the story will move in a different direction - hope you enjoy. Thanks for your nice comments. LBJ

You've done a great job with this story so far--I'very much looking forward to seeing how you manage Thorongil's departure and Imrahil's courtship. Your action scenes seem well written to me and, to the best of my somewhat limited knowledge, pretty reasonable for the kind of warfare you're aiming to describe.
Thanks so much for your efforts--I look forward to more of this story soon.
Matt

Author Reply: Thanks for your comments. Glad the fighting does sound a bit authentic - its always difficult to get it completely accurate when we are looking from the C21. Glad you are enjoying. LBJ

Excellent adventure! I can picture all the action; this chapter was like watching one of those great old swashbucklers like "The Sea Hawk."

Geez, couldn't Thorongil have been a *little* less obscure, instead of "other tasks call me," something like, "I have responsibilities back home and the time has come that I must attend to them"? Probably not....

I'm very intrigued by Oriel.

Author Reply: Glad you are enjoying the adventure, it is my first real foray into this genre. I took the - 'other tasks call me' - straight from JRRT, as it was the one of the few bits about this story we had info on. LBJ

Author Reply: Better than I was thanks- the update will come, but I am slower than usual, I'm afraid.LBJ

That would be a hard thing to accept, now he's just begun to respect the man and his competency! But Thorongil has his reasons, as WE know....

Author Reply: Yes, one is itching for him to tell Imrahil - but we know they end up friends. LBJ

Great story, but what an awful cliff-hanger ending. Hope the next chapter is ready for a quick posting!

Author Reply: Sorry about that - but you won't be kept in suspense for long. LBJ
