| Lothy seems to trust Leona completely here, which is a good sign. The first time I read this it seemed very encouraging to me. Found myself wishing that he had "confessed" to her before all of this ever happened but then, it would have led them elsewhere. Author Reply: Yes, I agree. I think that in an emergency Lothiriel's true feelings take over, so she just does as he tells her, like you said, trusting him blindly. | |

| I loved the details in this chapter--the young runaway couple make a nice "mirror" of Leona and Lothy. I feel a bit sorry for Leona here because it's obvious he's working up some nerve to tell her something. | I wanted to tell you how much I loved this story, it was such an adventure! I admire the way you write Eomer ,you really know how to bring him to life and his lady also, hope you will write somemore soon (aren't I greedy) but I just can't help myself it's so good. | He gave her a necklace of golden cabbages? Lol! And what a nice touch that they're planning to visit teh young couple they'd helped, that is a really satisfying aspect.
