| Ohhhh! This is wonderful! I'm so glad Legolas went back and sang the song properly--it never sat right with me that he changed it in the beginning of the story. You've done a wonderful job of wrapping up and bringing together all the loose threads, all while showing Legolas and Gimli at their best. I'm so, so glad to see Legolas healed again, although I wonder what it would have taken to bring him back. He was so far gone. His strength of will, when it was turned toward living again, must have been incredible. I'm delighted by the touch about Elves hearing the conception of a child in the Song--that's right up my alley. Lovely. This has been an epic story--a novel, really. Thank you so much for sharing your time and creative energy with us. You are truly one of the most talented writers in fan fiction, Ithilien, and quite a bit more gifted than plenty of published authors I've read. Thank you. | |
