Ah--is he ticklish, then? Heh! And she wanted to find out just how ticklish or sensitive he is? Delightful!

Author Reply: Thank you!

Oh, I can see this, too. How many have helped copy the Red Book that was presented to the King's archives? And he felt as if Frodo were there the whole time he was reading? Well, of course!

Author Reply: It'd be quite easy to feel so, if one actually had known him in real life. I hope to be able to do more work with the Thain's Book in the future.

Hooray! Frodo comes home, accompanied by friends, and rejoices to celebrate his century birthday with his friends! Just as humble and delightful as ever! Yes!

Author Reply: Just for a little while, I think, depending on how travel-worthy he's feeling. Thank you!

Definitely an interesting feast there! So, Leroy's playing a shoot-em-up computer game, eh? And McDonalds fries in the stew? Heh! Oh, dear!

Nice to see our Handy getting out a bit.

Author Reply: You mentioned the computer games and McDonald's first. :) I really am quite fond of Handy!

Now, this is exactly what I'd hoped for! Thank you so very much, Celeritas! Thank you! Thank you! His reasoning is so right on, and his suggestions so practical. And we do see she HAS grown some character in the past year! Yes!

Author Reply: You are most welcome! The legal issues only really slipped in there, while I was writing it, but I thought that'd just make it an even more fitting present. I'm so happy you liked it.

Ooh! Now, that is a threat that I do believe Grima can take very, very seriously! Well done!

Author Reply: Yes--and a threat that Eomer would be all too happy to carry out if it kept him away from Eowyn!

Oh, I just love this! Pippin spoilt by being told he could sing like a nightengale? Heh! And Boromir can't sing well at all? And he finds he loves the singing of the Hobbits? Wonderful! Delightful!

Author Reply: Pippin spoilt by being told he could sing like a nightengale?

Maybe I should have added "by authors" somewhere in there. ;) Thanks!

Tempered in the fire. A great temptation to place before him, and I'm certain he felt he'd been able to fight it....

Author Reply: I'm certain he felt so, too. Hubris is always a butt.

What a wonderful tribute to Pippin's courage and the regard with which he was held! Yes! Yes!

Author Reply: Thank you!

Well, from what we can tell the stairs at the Great Smial down which Lalia fell appear to have been OUTDOORS rather than INDOORS. Heh! The great stairs debate continues, along with the question as to whether or not Balrogs have usable wings.

But I'm certain that the Tooks had a ballroom!

Author Reply: Yes, but if they were outdoor stairs, and Great Smials was so huge and interconnected, how did the different floors connect--unless it were truly built on a ravine or some such thing. I'm rather ambivalent on the entirety of the matter, but if anyone were to have stairs indoors it'd certainly be the Tooks! (And honestly, there's more evidence for those than a ballroom.)
