In Darkness Bound  by Fiondil 12 Review(s)

Yep, Feanaro knew exactly what he was doing, the stinker! Ingwe should never have given way with regard to the Oath of Fealty, but he did and now he and the rest of Aman are left to pick up the pieces.
Just what do the Valar think of all this, I am sure they had unclad Mair in the square, they must be tearing their hair out over this. I bet Namo already has a room set aside for Feanaro and his sons!
Oh, well, waiting for Friday!
Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi Lynda,

Unfortunately, Ingwë had no clue and I'm sure Fëanáro would have found some way to weasel out of giving is fealty, knowing he had no intention of remaining in Aman. We will see how the Valar react to the Oath fairly soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.

Ingwë is not used to dealing with those who have suffeded deep traumas like Fëanáro has, or the insane. He did mean well, but only succeeded in adding more fuel to the fire. And I can certainly understand that Ingwë feared Fëanaro - in his rage and madness the ellon is extremely dangerous, and his charisma and passion are going to suck most of the Noldor into following him and his sons away from Aman.

I think Eönwë is very upset at having to record that oath.

Author Reply: Ingwë is definitely out-classed, that's for sure, Sunny. Fëanáro is in a league of his own. We will see the reaction of the Valar and Eönwë to the Oath in a subsequent chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I quite appreciate it.
