Elf Academy Part Deux  by Fiondil 31 Review(s)
6336Reviewed Chapter: 86 on 11/17/2012
From The Valinor Voice...

There was much weeping and wailing on the streets of Tirion today, Lord Fiondils, Elf Academy Part Deux, his entertaing tale of Edhel in Ennorath, has finally come to an end or is it the beginning, as he has left enough tales hanging to ensure that people will be back for more!?

Morofindel, our favorite Inn Keeper, is concerned that his buisness will be going down on Mondays and Fridays, the days that Lord Fiondils Tale was appearing in the newspaper, 'Perhaps, now that people have found there way here they will be coming back, Lord Fiondil has promised us some more stories, but not until the New Year. We will have to see how it goes.'

Mistress Serinde, our visitor from Eldmas was disapointed that he did not get to the wedding, 'I was so looking forward to his description of the dress and everything, oh, well perhaps we will be seeing it next year. I know we Edhel live for all the ages of Arda, but sometimes it gets a bit boring waiting for things to happen!'

Back copies of the Valinor Voice are still available and there are plans to have copies of Lord Fiondils other stories available.
Nelliel, of Tirion.

It's amazing what I find when out walking the cat!

Huggs,
Lynda

Ah, and so it ends D= Realistically I knew this was coming but still... I'm glad to see that Alex/Ambrose is reconciling his issues, and look forwards to whatever comes next! (Also, I'm sorry Alex, but I agree with Derek that it'd be HILARIOUS if your parents hit it off. *hums Brady Bunch theme*) Seems that Powers are moving on both sides of the fence... will we get to see more of this universe Fiondil? I'd dearly love more, if the muse obliges. Thank you for a wonderful ride, in any case!

Author Reply: Hi bookworm. There will be more Elf Academy, I promise. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this story and I appreciate you taking the time to leave comments along the way. Thank you.

Brilliant, parts un et deux. Looking forward to part trois. Very few fics tackle the problems of surviving Elves - maybe into the 4th Age. The "human dumped into ME" is mostly Mary-Sue (exception: Boz4pm's Penny "Panic" tales.) I've enjoyed your other tales too. Keep them coming!

Author Reply: Thank you, Katharein. I'm so glad you've enjoyed the Elf Academy series as well as my other tales and are looking forward to more. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know.

I'm sad to see this story end. I'm sorry to miss out on Alex's test tour, but it is just as well. We have seen the way these tours are conducted. Had to laugh at the idea of Derek's dad and Alex's mom hitting it off together. I think Alex's mom has to get to know her son again when she comes.

Thanks for writing such entertaining stories. Can't wait to see what you come up with next and hope for a new installment of Elf Academy.

Author Reply: And I'm sad that it is over with as well, obsidanj, but there is more of the story to be told and that's something to look forward to. You're right that Alex's mom wlll need to get to know her son again and I think that will be a major part of the next storyline (or one of them, at least). Thanks for reading and commenting. I appreciate you taking the time to do both.

Thank you for a wonderful story and for the promise of more. I have just had my internet returned (Thank you Storm Sandy) and was sad to see I would be reading the epilogue. I so enjoy and have become so totally involved in the characters you have created that I re-read your stories all the time. Enjoy the holidays!

Author Reply: I'm glad you were finally able to get back internet, jgmsccc. I know what it feels like not to have immediate access. Thanks for letting me know how much you enjoyed this story and all my other stories. I appreciate it very much. And happy holidays to you as well.

Yay! a good story well-turned out with a happy ending, and just enough loose ends left for an equally good sequel.
Your fans won't let you rest long (if at all) on your laurels, Fiondil. Please do keep writing (after a _short_ recuperative break ), and thanks for all you've done to date.

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed this, Rick. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.

Another wonderful story (even tho I am terrible at keeping up and reviewing). In addition to all the loose ends begging for another story, we do need to see how Glorfindel and Daeron progress on the road to love...and do NOT forget my Elladan!) :)

Author Reply: Hello ainisarie. Never fear, Elladan hasn't been forgotten. We'll see what happens with him and everyone else in the next installment (whenever I get around to writing it). Thanks for letting me know how much you enjoyed this story. I appreciate it very much.

I was glad to see this wasn't the end of the story. I'd like to see how things go leading up to the final battle and then what happens during and after the battle.

Author Reply: Hi Tari. If we ever see the final battle and its aftermath, I fear it will be in "Elf Academy Part 33"! LOL! Well, we'll see. For me it's not the battle itself that is of interest but the preparations for it and how the Elves and Mortals of Wiseman learn to work together toward preparing for the final battle and all the conflicts that occur between them. At any rate, I appreciate all your reviews and I thank you for taking the time to write them.

I FINALLY was able to get caught up just in time to read the epilogue this morning. A fabulous story, mellon nin, and the final line was absolutely PERFECT! I can easily assure your that this tale is one I will be re-read over and over again. Great job!

Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving!

Edlyn

Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed this, Edlyn, and that you thought the last line perfect. Thanks for reading and reviewing (when you could). I appreciate it very much. Hugs back and Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Excellent! Glad each is finding his or her proper place within the community. And how, I wonder, is Finrod's wife taking the separation? (Hint, hint.)

Author Reply: Hi Larner. Yes, they are slowly but surely finding their place and their purpose. As for Amarië, we may see her in the next installment, but I make no promises. Thanks for all your reviews and your support. I appreciate it more than words can say.
