*happy sigh*

I really have nothing else to add - the other comments said everything I was thinking. It's been such a fun story to read!

Author Reply: Hello Lyana,
I'm glad to hear I made you happy!

Have a Merry Christmas

This was a great chapter. Eomer is such a typical stubborn man! At lease he saw sense in the end. I'm sorry this is almost over. Wishing you a happy Christmas.

Author Reply: Hello Linda,
they're both pretty stubborn, aren't they ;-D But as you said, at least he knows when to take a leap of faith.

Happy Holidays to you as well!

Aha! At least he's finally realized that Gliwen is the real Lothiriel after all,and he's getting the lady he truly wants afterall. And love the plans for a rather hurried wedding! Heh!

Author Reply: Hello Larner,
the Gondorians will probably put another explanation on the hurried wedding, but I don't think Eomer and Lothriel care ;-)

Yay! Another fantastic chapter! Everything is finally sorted out - and done very well, I thought. Not too quick, or too easy for either of them, instead just the right amount of disbelief and realization. I can't wait to see what the wedding will be like.

Also, Hild is now my hero, I think.

Merry Christmas, my dear! Have a fantastic time of it.

Author Reply: Hello Imladris,
yes, I thought that it wouldn't be believable if everything just resolved into bliss without some inner struggle on both their parts.

As for the wedding...ehm...I'm afraid I won't show that. The next chapter will wrap up the story some more and then the epilogue is set some years later. I've done so many weddings (and wedding nights) that I wanted to do something different with this story.

And a very Merry Christmas to you as well!

I love her stubborness. A good match for Eomer indeed! What an excellent display of the same behavior he was exhibiting. that was sweet that he called her Gliwen there when he came by and picked her up.

Author Reply: Hello ellie,
yes, they seem to be evenly matched! What a stroke of luck for that rainstorm to come along and tip the balance ;-)

These two stubborn children do deserve one another! I'm rather proud of her, really. At least the rain has cooled his temper, as he realizes she does not take this situation lightly! And of course she had to do the traveling without her father's blessing--again! She does tend to behave precipitously!

Author Reply: Hello Larner,
I think the Rohirrim will actually be quite impressed by her too. And what is a father's absence good for except to play truant? Poor, clueless Imrahil ;-)

Fantastic as always! I love Lothíriel's stubbornness - her refusing to leave until Eomer talked to her was a stoke of brilliance. Her stubbornness, as a match for Eomer's temper, is a thing to behold!

Author Reply: Hello Imladris,
they seem to be well matched in that respect, don't they? The working title for this chapter was actually 'Occupy Edoras' ;-D

Awww - love her in this chapter - good thing she's so stubborn! Sometimes you have to be to get through to the other side; it appears that the irresistible force met the immoveable object. :-) And I had to chuckle - the first time he encountered her, she was a puddle of tears. Now she's a puddle thanks to the rain. What was that you said about fire and ice turning into puddles?? I hope they can negotiate their relationship in the future so that she doesn't always have to become a drowned rat to get his attention!

Author Reply: Hello Lyana,
lol, you're right about the puddles! But don't worry, the Meduseld household will do their best to turn her out presentable again, after all they have a considerable stake in having a non-grumpy Eomer again ;-D

Poor Lothiriel. I don't think I'd want to marry Eomer if I were she!I'm glad he has finally relented. A gripping chapter.

Author Reply: Hello Linda,
it takes strong nerves to become Queen of Rohan! But perhaps he'll make it up to her eventually.
