Christmas at Edhellond: An Elf Academy Tale  by Fiondil 12 Review(s)
Ilya of AewellondReviewed Chapter: 17 on 1/28/2013
I greatly enjoyed reading this chapter, mellon nin. I am glad Finrod recovers from his injuries. He believes he knows who his Secret Santa is? Then he is certainly wiser than me, for I cannot fathom who it might be. I am relieved to hear that Alex, Derek and their families returned to Wiseman safely, though I felt great concern when I learned that they may have been pursued by the enemy during their journey. What purpose could that serve? The story of Lord Celeborn's reception in Aman was heartening, it is good to learn that the Sindar are more accepted there now. I agree with Finrod's statement about the treatment of Christmas trees grown in lots, it is unecesarily cruel. I am glad Glorfindel gained a tree in a more gentle fashion, and that it will be returned to its forest when the celebration is over! I have said more than enough now, I believe, so I will simply await the next chapter, in which Alex's mother and Derek's father will hopefully learn the truth, and the young lordlings will regain their swords. My apologies for saying too much in this review.
Namarie.

Author Reply: Hi Ilya. We'll learn who Finrod's secret santa is in the next chapter and we'll meet Alex's mom as well. And long reviews are welcomed. Thanks for taking the time to leave one. I appreciate it.

Lovely! So happy to learn Alex, Derek, and families are okay. Enjoyed the scene with Finn. Looks like everyone is truly getting ready for Christmas.

Author Reply: Hi UTfrog. Yes, everyone is gearing up for the big event. We'll see that in the next chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.
