| *SQUEES* I was so excited to see this today! I remember you mentioning on LJ that this was a sequel to "Vault," so I re-read that one this past week and thoroughly enjoyed it again. I had no idea this was going to be an AU of your AU, with Frodo staying in Middle-earth---I think that's brilliant. I really adore stories in which Frodo is healed and happy after the Quest, and it's going to be very interesting to read a Q-verse story with Estel as the king! This was a wonderful chapter. The hobbit party's welcome was just lovely... and the Frodo and Aragorn embrace was perfect. Looking so forward to more! Author Reply: Thank you so much, Lily. | Lovely--all the affection! I love the description of the trees and the idea that there are trees and plants from Numenor here, different from all of Middle Earth. Now I want to see them. | The Blue Mountains, the home of his northern kindred and probably where he was born, unless he was born amongst Dain's folk in the Iron Hills east of the Misty Mountains. Love the greeting, and fitting that Frodo and he should embrace first! As for Pippin's greeting--so appropriate and proper! Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed the greetings.
