Poor Elladan. some times it's hard to see what you do to those you love when you are in so much pain.
Excellent Chapter Lai, Very interesting to see all the characters emotions intertwining, even Erestor.
hummm, Elrohir is in a very difficult position. How to save someone you love, who is bent on destroying their lives?

Thanks for a wonderful chapter.

Author Reply: you are welcome. Thank you so much for a wonderful review, Eliza. The twins are not to envy just now. Elladan can not see beyond his grief and Elrohir does not want to go on like this. I´m glad the emotions came around believble. Lai

Oh my! That was brutal harsh behavior from everyone. Some deserved it and some did not. Will healing ever find this family?

Author Reply: Elrond did definitely not deserve such a behaviour. That´s the reasion why Glorfindel intervened. Healing will find this family, as we all know but it will be a long way as my story will tell. Thank you so much for a most appreciated review, Ellie. Lai

YES!! Way to go Glorifindel. As much as it pains me, because the twins are two of my favorite characters, some times the consequences for reckless actions has to be harsh.
Absolutely loved this chapter. can't wait to see what happens next.

Author Reply: Glorfindel had all right to intervene and set Elladan in his place. The twins are my favourite characters too, but these were hard times for them all and I wanted to show it. I´m so glad you loved the chapter nonetheless and thank you for your review, eliza. Lai

Whoa! Did Elladan ever crossed the line and Glorfindel was right to be so angry and call him on it. What a terrible thing to do to their own father. There really is no excuse. Poor Elrond. No wonder he's decided to fade.

Author Reply: This did really go too far but Elladan will realize this too late, I fear. Elrond´s reaction is more than understandable. This family needs definitely help. Thank you so much for reviewing, Fiondil. You know how much I appreciate it, even if I´m a very negligent reviewer right now. Lai

Oh no, not an evil cliffie!!! Oy Vey,I have the patience of a knat, I'm the girl that cheats and reads the ending when the angst gets to great.

Wowza, what a great beginning. Now to try and dream up what could have rattled Elrond.
I enjoy the two different POV's.

Author Reply: Elrond has all reason to be stressed, this I can already promise. I´m glad you liked the different POV´s. It was a joy to write. The next update will come soon. Thank you so much for reviewing. Lai

You have become a writer of surprise twists, turns of plot and fate that are quite unexpected. Elves can fade from grief, I wonder. But that would be a slow process. What, indeed, were the events of the previous evening? I will be anxiously "tuning in" to find out. You are looking here at the story from many characters points of view. This should be good!

Author Reply: my writing is unexpected? Then I have done something right. THank you so much. Indeed elves can die from grief. The events of the previous evening are not pleasant at all, this I can promise. Elrond is not shocked without reason. The different characted views make the story more interesting, or so I hope. Hopefully you are "turning in" for the next chapter. Update soon - promise. Lai

Poor Elrond, and the poor children of Elrond.

You know, Tolkien described him as being "kind as summer". I wonder if some of that kindness resulted from the sorrows he lived through.

Author Reply: I never considered this but maybe you are right. Thank you so much for your lovely review, Lindelea. I really appreciat it. Lai

Oh, how angsty. Poor Elrond, but poor Glorfindel even more. Can't wait to see where you from here, Lai.

Author Reply: angsty? Then I have done something right, but I promise I have just started. LOL!
Thank you so much for an appreciated review, Fiondil. Lai

It had to be difficult for everyone in the valley, but particularly for those who were so close to Celebrian. It is time to let the healing begin.

Author Reply: yes, Elrond is in dire need of a respite and true healing but I fear until his sons see reason there will no healing be found.Thank you for your review, Larner. Lai

What sad memories! This does not bode well...

Author Reply: you are right, that glimpse in Elrond´s desolate soul does indeed not bode well. And it has only started. Thank you so much for reviewing, Ellie. Lai
