Elf Academy 4 - The Unfinished Tales  by Fiondil 23 Review(s)
ArasindaReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 1/25/2016
I held my breathe and immediately started to cry when I read the two Fiondil story postings. Almost a whole year has gone by since Fiondil left us, and I too was reminded today of he had been such a happy part of Mondays. I want to send my appreciation and thank yous to his writers and family for sharing Fiondil's wonderful imagination and legacy with Stories of Arda.

We are in high adventure with the first prologue! All the names were there.I hope the story has hundreds of chapters. I will be in no hurry to read the end.

Author Reply: Posting these first couple of chapters brought tears to our eyes as well. Your gratitude is much appreciated :-)

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Wow, what a start to the next story Fiondil left. I've been thinking about him for the last month and rereading the other EA stories. And what a trip they have ahead of them! LOL, I remember Alex and Derek googling the coordinates of Wild Lake and knew just what to do.

Author Reply: Fiondil figured that readers would google the coordinates in this story as well :-)

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

What a shock to open the page and see this. I could have cried tears of joy...and it looks like things will be interesting indeed.

Thank you so much for doing this. I am glad Fiondil's family was agreeable to it.

Author Reply: Things will be interesting and exciting!

We are glad that Fiondil's family gave permission for this story to be published.

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I hope that those of you who are putting this work out there are able to read these reviews. I want you to know how grateful I am to you for doing this and making it available to those of use who loved Fiondil to read his last work.

This story looks as though it's going to be a lot more intense than the previous ones. I'm so sorry to see the end of Edhelond!

I have a hunch that perhaps the prologue has something to do with the information Gareth and Gwyn have. I'm glad to be excited for Mondays again!

Author Reply: Every review is read both both Shemyaza and I. I believe that Fiondil in his own way reads them all as well :-)

This story is intense, but it does make for exciting Mondays!

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I had an intense emotional reaction when I saw EA4 had started to be posted. Damn, it's been a year, and I still miss Fiondil intensely, even though we had only "met" online. ::dabs at eyes::
I am grateful to all who have made this posting possible.

Author Reply: We desperately miss Fiondil as well. Thank you for your expression of gratitude. It means a lot to us :-)

We hope to hear more from you as the story progresses.

SOA doesn't seem to want to let me log in. Thank you, thank you all for brightening my year. I am glad to see that I am not the first to look up those coordinates but I am not convinced I got it right.
Hate being obvious but talk about starting with a bang!

Author Reply: Yes, indeed, it does start with a bang. I think Fiondil would be pleased to know that so many people are so happy to see the posting of his last story.

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Last night, I had a dream. I dreamed about a chapter of EA4 being up. Now it would have been only natural my thoughts going out to Fiondil these days, but even this fall when I re-read EA1 up to EA3, I can't remember having any dreams about it. Seeing the new chapter notification today almost makes it surreal.
And I was having a terrible monday and this made me realize very much how Fiondil's stories always made mondays better days for me...

When ever thinking of EA4, I never images there being a 3 years gap between EA3 and EA4 . Now could I ever expected Edhellond getting blown up and the Elves having to leave everything they build up in the last 4 stories behind.
And what does this mean for their plans for the Dagor Dagorath the Valor have been working on for centuries? And what part do the brothers play in this. They clearly know more than they let on, keeping the first part of the prologue in mind too.

I wonder if there's anyone else who has actually been crazy enough to look up those coordinates? Evilly enough, you won't get much wiser if you do so. At least, I didn't...

Furthermore, my gratitude to everyone who made this possible.

Corine

Author Reply: I think Fiondil would be touched that his chapters will make your Mondays better for a while. That is cool that you dreamed about EA4 being up and woke to find it so.

There is much in this early part of the story which will be made clear in time. Lots of folks have looked up the coordinates, as Fiondil knew they would.

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Thank you to Fiondil's family for giving permission so that this story can be told. Also, thank you to Fiondel's betas for taking on the task of getting this posted. But mostly, thank you, Fiondil, for this continuation of Elf Academy, cliffhangers and all.

Author Reply: Your gratitude is most appreciated all around :-)

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Well, well, Atya, your thick plottens. Or the plot thickens. *lopsided grin, though I'm still crying*

I don't know if the Beta Amigos shall be answering these reviews for you or not, but I am glad at least that they're posting the chapters. *hopes they can feel these internet hugs of deepest gratitude*

So Edhellond finally was exploded after all this time. Three years on...I do wonder what on Arda is going on. Well, the Dagor Dagorath, it would seem, but...oh, just when things get interesting, they leave us hanging with your famous cliffhangers.

Speaking of which...*settles in at the Cliff House with the rest, and sets out refreshments for the wave of Fiondil's People who shall no doubt be arriving* If we're going to survive the Dagor Dagorath, Atto, we'll need our strength. Hostess has some pretty good treats...*fills basket with Cupcakes, DingDongs, HoHos and more* Then there's the Freckled Lemonade Cake I had from Red Robin...*places strawberry lemonade cake out* and speaking of Red Robin, burgers of all kinds made to order...:)

Tye-melin, Atya, nettenyar, fellow Fiondilië.

Author Reply: We the betas read each and every review that is posted. We are doing what we can to finally start answering them individually as it seems that the blanket response Shemyaza left for the first bit posted was missed by many.

Much has happened, but hang in there as things will be explained soon enough in the story.

We have hired an all elvish wait staff to man (or would that be elf?) the Cliff House and see to your every comfort while you gather to read, discuss, and wait for new chapters.

Thank you for reading and reviewing!
