Oh, yes--in this case both winning and surrender are sweet indeed! Glad they are still learning of and from one another, and that they can enjoy both winning and losing, both surrendering when it is!

Am going to purchase your book for my Nook, as I've been unable to get my Kindle app to reenter it. I loved what I read, but Kindle is far less responsive to my preferred manner of reading than the Kindle app for my computer has proved. I try to bring it up and it just lies there on the desktop going, "Huh?" when I try to reopen a book I'd started.

I look forward to your next offering to us!

Author Reply: Thanks! I liked the seemingly contradictory ideas of winning by surrender, of gaining by letting go and how the more you give, the more you receive.

And I'm sorry to hear you had technical difficulties with your Kindle copy of Bride to the Sun. I love ebooks for the ease of taking them with me everywhere, but paper books do have some advantages! I hope you'll enjoy the story though.

Thanks for reviewing!

Ah, most satisfactory! Communication is, after all, most often THE key to full appreciation of one another. Am glad to see this at last!

Author Reply: It is, isn't it! Hopefully they've learnt that lesson now!

I have been following along at home since the first chapter and enjoying it all the way through. Thanks for writing it and I look forward to whatever you post next.

Author Reply: Thanks! There's still an epilogue to come, but after that I'm not sure what's next. Something will pop into my head, no doubt ;-)

Aha! I remember thinking, back at the beginning almost, that she had been in love with Boromir - or perhaps just hero-worshipped him; I am pleased to think he might have seen her in that light too.

But how good to see this pair finally talking to each other, listening to each other, and finally understanding each other - even with poor Lothiriel's slight detour on the understanding thing!

I am really hoping that it really is still in progress and we have another chapter to go (or more - I wouldn't object!) because it is always sad to come to the end of such a good story.

Author Reply: Yes, it started probably very much as hero-worship on Lothiriel's part - as she has come to realise herself. What would have come of it, who knows?

And sorry about that final misunderstanding, I just couldn't resist (but then you know me!).

As for being still in progress, there will be an epilogue set some time later to tie up the last few loose ends, but that's it. In a way I'm also sad to let them go, but then the deserve to enjoy their happy ending now.

Oh, they negotiated the smoke and mirrors at last!

Thank you, I have SO enjoyed these stories! I really liked your version of Eomer and Lothirial was one fiesty lady!

Didn't guess that the long lost love would be Boromir!

Thank you for including Aragorn, if only in a bit part!

A lovely ending, but sad it's finished.

WRITE MORE!

Author Reply: Yes, they finally smashed through the smoke and mirrors ;-D

I'm pleased to hear you liked this version of Eomer and Lothiriel and I will definitely write more, though I've also got a few original writing projects in the works that I want to finish first.

As for this story, there is an epilogue to come.

Wonderful! I'm really enjoying this. I liked that you had Boromir be the missing man in her life as cousins often married in olden days. :)

Author Reply: Thanks! It was an idea I had a long time ago. I could quite easily see a young Lothiriel hero-worshipping Boromir and then perhaps he suddenly sees her as a woman and falls in love with her.

I think I'd be a bit afraid of him myself at that moment. Now, to actually begin COMMUNICATING! Love the mixed feelings he's experiencing--so true to life!

And love the agreements being reached by the Dunlending "queen mum" and Lothiriel. Her father has prepared her well for her current position.

Author Reply: Yes, communication is the key between these two, isn't it. But Eomer is determined to have it out this time, so there's hope they'll finally struggle through the thickets of misunderstandings ;-)

Thanks for reviewing!
