So many memories. I am glad that they can lean on each other's strength in remembering.

How lovely to see a new snippet from you and a great one at that. Also, I am pondering the questions you are posing on LJ but it won't let me read comments or make one - darn it!

How wonderful to see a new story from you. You have been a favorite writer for many years. This story resonates with me on many levels. I lost my husband of 48 years in September. We had a Caribbean cruise booked for February. Instead of canceling the cruise I took my sister-in-law and dearest friends with me. We had a great time. Also lifted many glasses in his honor. Thank you so much for writing again.

This is lovely, and very moving. Indeed, many of us have anniversaries that bring the bitter with the sweet.

Oh, but the greatest story of all, entrusting one's love to another.
