| Awww. I *love* it when you write about Pippin! (I can just see him under the cake table... good spot to be. Lovely things to nibble on, right at hand if one should get peckish whilst listening to Birthday Speeches.) I love the last bit, too. I bet Pippin and Merry *would* have gone all the way to the Crack of Doom, if the Orcs hadn't taken them at Parth Galen.
