Short little story written for the winter solstice......since daw the minstrel is busy telling about the lives of Thranduil and his sons, I took a little peek back in time to when Thranduil first met Lorellin, where we see the king can be clumsy and we learn where Eilian inherited his flirting tendencies...

His son, Legolas, has been killed and dissected and many of his warriors have been taken by poachers. There have been whispers in the darkness of the presence of the fell Mary Sue.
