My Collection of Drabbles   by Periantari

...but Frodo ate and drank little, heeding only the beauty of the Lady and her voice.”~Farewell To Lorien, FOtR

The accursed river had taken his parents’ lives.

Mesmerizing ripples in the water gave him chills, reminding him of first hearing news of the drowning. Tears falling unceasingly from his eyes were drowning him in unspeakable grief.

The morning light shone brightly upon the peaceful river. But there was no other choice but to lead by example and show his strength.

Reluctantly settling himself in the Elven boat, Frodo’s heart would continually be full of trepidation and sorrow had it not been for the melodious voice of Galadriel, calming and helping him forget his fear of water, to keep going.
