Those Gamgees are good people ... :-) Hopefully Aragorn's just rattled around a bit, and will be more lucid when he actually wakes up ...

Oh dear - wait. Aragorn with a lost memory, perhaps? Well, that's what I call opportunities for an intrigueing plot! And I like your healer, Ginny. That's certainly a woman after my heart. *smiles* Marvelous tale, dear. Cúthalion Author Reply: I'm always a little shaky writing about anything medical, so I'm glad the healer is coming across well. :D

Ooo, I had of course been privileged to see part of this earlier, but reading the entire chapter at once... perfect. I honestly am completely elated at the idea of Aragorn possibly suffering amnesia of some type... which it seems is the case! On to the next chapter... Author Reply: Thanks, Lily! Ah, the long list of wonderful and strange things that elate us... may we never stop having fun with them! :D

Frodo's being well taken care of, and now Aragorn is waking with a word that confuses his cousin. Hmmm. Glad Scamp is able to keep Sam busy. Author Reply: Yes, Halbarad's world is a bit shaken just now!

Meant to review this before and was sidetracked by RL! I'm hoping Aragorn is just a little fuddled and doesn't have full-blown amnesia. This is one of your stories after all. I'm sure some coddling and fuss from lots of adorable hobbits will do the trick. Poor Scamp - and poor Sam. Eeek! And poor Frodo too! I'd better get back to Bag End - Gilly needs help! Author Reply: I guarantee coddling and fuss for the poor dears! And you're so right... no one is *badly* hurt, just in need of a bit of comfort and healing. Yes, it's time you got back to Bag End. Could you keep Halbarad and Aragorn company until Gilly is free to check on them? Thanks.

Author Reply: Ah, they love your hugs, Elly. Now the healing can really begin. :D

Uh oh, ranger and future King of the West with possible amnesia is not good. (although, it's never been done before to my knowledge. Cool!!! I mean, poor Aragorn.) With your descriptions and feeling given to your tale, I can just envision a harried Sam sitting off in the corner of his master's bedroom, clutching onto a very pregnant Scamp for comfort while all the adults focus their attention on Frodo. Poor Frodo ... I have a gut feeling you're not done with the poor lad just yet and have more in store for him, along with plenty of comfort, of course. Can't wait for the next chapter, Shirebound! P.S. If you haven't discovered it yet, I just posted my final chapter of 'The Gift' where all is revealed. :) Also, another quick sidenote: Disney's Lady & the Tramp II was just released. It's entitled, Scamp's Adventures!! Scamp is a star!!!! LOL! Author Reply: If there's one thing you can count on, it's plenty of comfort. "Scamp's Adventure"!! So she's been off making movies, has she? That little cutie-pie. *runs off to read your latest chapter*

Uh oh...That's not good. Not good at all!! Shirebound, what on Middle-Earth did you do to Aragorn!?! Poor Frodo too, but while he might be more physically hurt, Aragorn's the worst off of the two. While I know things will be fine, you've got me nervous here. Hope you add to this and soonest!! Author Reply: I'm working on it, Tigger! And you know all will be well by the end. Thank you so much for reading.

Glad to see another chapter up! Good that Sam could stay with his Frodo and be distracted and distractor at the same time. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thanks, Antane. Sam just *had* to be there, and this seemed the best way to accomplish it. :D

Oh dear,it looks as if Aragorn has lost his memory!I love the way your plots are full of twists and turns .Welcome back ! Author Reply: Thank you, Linda! It's fun to add at least a teensy "twist" now and then! *grins*
