Well can you please add another chapter about the Winter Solstice, you haven't yet made it so, I think it well be very interesting, not to mention hilarious :D :D :D Author Reply: Hi Amna. At the moment, I have no plans to write a sequel to this story describing what they end up wearing for the Winter Solstice. I'm afraid you'll just have to use your own imagination about that. I'm glad you enjoyed this one, though, and I appreciate you leaving a review. Thanks.

Ah, how sweet! Lord Namo has to be my favorite Vala! Beneath all that forbidding exterior is a loving heart that cannot resist his beloved. I love the way you portray him here. Author Reply: Hi Celeth. He's a lot of people's favorite Vala, at least the way I write him. And really, what's not to like? *grin* Thanks for letting me know how much you enjoyed the story. I appreciate it.

It's summer term so it's very quiet and I have time to catch up on reading and reviewing. I absolutely loved this story. Are you going to write one about the reaction to Námo's chosen color of atire for Midwinter? I am laughing out loud just thinking about it. I think the thing I liked best was the affection that Námo and Vairë have for each other. I was honestly expecting Vairë to do something significantly damaging to the other Valar when she realised that both she and Námo had been had, especially when Tulkas and Oromë are being such gits. But my favourite line was: As long as the Children didn’t have to see me... Last thing I needed was to have half the Elves of Eldamar die of shock, or more likely laughter, at the sight of me. I didn’t even want to think of the paperwork that would entail. Maranwë would most likely quit in disgust and then where would I be? Thanks for hte laughter, dear friend. Edlyn Author Reply: Hi Edlyn. Summer is the best time for catching up on one's reading.*grin* I have no idea if I will be writing a sequel to this, though I know many readers would like to see what happens at Midwinter. We'll have to see how cooperative the Muse is. I think Námo and Vairë are a lovely couple with great affection and respect for one another. That's how I've portrayed them in all my stories, especially "Wars of the Valar" where we see them courting. And I like that line, too. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it. I'll be posting a new Loom story early in July, so you have something to look forward to.

*ROFL* You know, at first I was wondering if the couple could be Celeborn and Galadriel, and after the sister was mentioned I started to go through all the Elves in Eldamar in your stories. But when I saw the word 'yellow', I knew who it was - still haven't forgotten that little episode :D Oh, it was so funny to see the allmighty Lord of Mandos being played by his wife, upset with her idea and still not able to get out of it *grin* Before I start quoting half the chapter as favourite parts, I'll just say that I loved it. Thank you for a great laugh! Oh, and you realise that I now want to see the other Valar in pink, do you? *whistles innocently* Author Reply: Everyone wants to see the "Valar in Pink" story. *LOL* Well, we'll see what the Muse comes up with. The Winter Solstice is some months away still. Anyway, the whole purpose of writing the beginning as I did was to confuse people as to who the couple was, though I knew once the word 'yellow' appeared, many people would realize what this was about. *grin* Glad you enjoyed this one, Kitty, and that it made you laugh. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.

Methinks the Valar have been hanging around the Reborn too much. Namo handled this with a lot of grace. I can't wait to see what the other wives have in mind for their husbands. (I do hope this will be continued later.) LOL Author Reply: You're probably right about that, Tari. There may be a sequel to this but I don't know for sure. It depends on what the Muse comes up with.

Just read Sunny's review, you know a nice salmony pink might work with Manwe colouring. Have to see what Varda and the other three Valier come up with! Lynda Author Reply: Salmon pink might work, Lynda, but I still don't see Manwë going for it without a fight. *grin*

*Giggle!* This was so funny and so sweet. And I loved the description of the outfit... Vaire picked out just the right shades of yellow to make it dignified instead of ridiculous. I like how you didn't right out tell us who the narrator and the beloved were, but let us learn about the bet first. So when we realized just who was talking, it was to excellent effect. *giggle* And I, too, think that the Winter Solstice will be VERY interesting! Pink. *more giggles* Well done! Author Reply: Hi Rhyselle. I'm glad you liked this, especially the description of the outfit. I wrote the beginning as I did because I wanted people to try to guess who the two people could be so that their identities would be something of a surprise. Someone who read the story in an earlier version thought they were Finrod and Amarië at first. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

I loved this on ALEC and still love it here. I think he could easily wear a deep royal purple, but I don't see him in brighter colors. Except...and it's a big except...I visualized him in black denim slacks and a red plaid shirt with a knit hat for Nate in Elf Academy. That would fit into the area of the country very well and be inconspicuous, even though it would seem to stand out. It's all about blending, don'cha know :-))) As always, it's a pleasure to read anything you write. - Erulisse (one L) Author Reply: Hi Erulissë. I'm glad you enjoyed this story. I don't see Námo in bright colors either, though, as you say, the outfit you describe here for his 'Nate' persona would definitely blend into the scenery since it would be a typical outfit for that part of the country. However, I don't think he would show up in Ilmarin dressed that way except for its shock value. *grin* Thanks for letting me know how much you loved this story. I appreciate it.

O this was excellent! and hilarious...when will the sequel appear? Pink! Not to mention the comeuppance of the 4 who stepped so firmly on their wives' toes! All of this series of tales has been very good, if I have forgotten to mention it previously - you know me, always behind on the reviews. But I have read and enjoyed the whole set. Thanks for writing! Author Reply: Hi Rick. I'm glad you found this so funny. Don't know if there will be sequel, but you never know. The Winter Solstice isn't all that far away, really. *grin* Thanks for letting me know how much you have been enjoying this series of tales. I really appreciate it and your reviews whenever you are able to leave one.

Hehehehehe ... Námo in yellow! I wondered, when I read about Vána’s suggestion that he wear yellow if he lost the bet about who won the tournament. Now, in this story it is Vairë who loses her bet (and what is it with the Valar and gambling, anyway?), but that only gives us the pleasure of seeing just how good she is at twining Námo round her little finger. :-D And now you really have to convince the Muse to tell you the story of how Varda, Yavanna, Nessa, and Vána get their husbands into pink gartments – and just what shades ... rose pink, shocking pink, fuchsia, baby pink, radioactive pink, barbie pink ... pink is just _so_ not my color either, so I can commiserate with the Valar if their spouses manage to get them to wear that color ;-) Author Reply: Hi Sunny. As a friend of mine said to me once, 'Pink is NOT the new black!' *LOL* I have the feeling Námo declined to make a bet on the outcome of the tournament so he was off the hook there, which is why I think Yavanna and Oromë and probably Vána went after Vairë to get at Námo in a round about way. We'll have to see how the Muse feels about a sequel. You never know. Stranger things have happened. Manwë in baby pink... the mind boggles. *grin* Thhanks for reviewing, Sunny. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
