OMG! Those wedding clothes! And the hat! And the feather! *tries to scrub brain* It reminds me of one of the more outrageous Tolien illustrators, most notoriously Rowena Morrill. Have you seen her picture of Lúthien dancing, or of Aragorn's coronation?! I just forced myself to go hunting for them because I couldn't remember the artist's name, and it was only "fun" in a masochistic and "car wreck" way. *scrubs harder* Poor Eärwen. She already had so much stress in the wedding planning and kept many thing she wanted to entrust to nobody else. And then even when she does delegate, she can't rely on her staff. Although I do wonder why she wasn't involved more in the planning for the clothes, particularly as apparently many things are colour-coordinated to match. And to boot, her son and his friends keep throwing wrenches in her works (I almost wrote "wenches" :-)), and now the Valar get into the game, too. I don't imagine it will be a very pleasant first few days among the living for the newly Reborn. And I suspect the political ramifications (apart from the personal) for Arafinwë will have him reeling, as well. Not a peaceful time, for any of them. Glorfindel's descprition at the start of the story was all too apt. However will you manage to resolve all those crises so the "best of times" part of it will also be fulfilled?

I see they have the same doubts and worries as I do – how to present these three Reborn to the people and how not to overwhelm the Reborn with the reactions. LOL, of course Námo is right – with Finrod and Glorfindel around, there is always something happening. Aman must have been sooo boring while they were in Middle-earth or Mandos! Oh God. That wedding dress would go well with the china, no doubt, but frankly, I'd not want to be caught dead in it! Poor Finrod. I'm waiting for the explosion right now ... and just for the record, Glorfindel's idea with the privy sounds about right. While I feel somewhat sorry for Eärwen, I admit that Ingwion's departing comment sounded rather fitting. How can they put Finrod through that? Author Reply: Well, we knew the wedding garb would be ugly with Almáriel involved. What Finrod ends up doing with it remains to be seen. And as hard as it was to hear, I think Ingwion's words to Eärwen were spot on, myself. Someone needed to call her and Almáriel to account. Thanks for commenting, Kitty.

I agree--it sounds terribly revolting! Poor Finrod--how are they going to make this right so late in the process! The plans for Nolofinwe and the two younger ellyn do sound doable, at least. Hard for them having no memories of wife and mother, though. Author Reply: We'll see how things are made right soon enough, Larner. And we'll see how Nolofinwë and his sons make out as well. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.

Atto, Are you *insane*? Or is your Muse insane? *snicker* No, I suppose Almariel's the insane one, plus being colorblind. Please tell me it was Almariel, not Earwen, who was responsible for this latest...atrocity. I do hope Amarie's gone to pick up wedding garb for herself *and* Finda!!! "Ingwion's older than Earwen"...(quoting your reply to another review) Is he? I suppose with her being Olwe's youngest (right? I never remember...Atto, do you mind sending me your family tree/timeline for the Amanian royal bunch? I need to keep everyone straight - who's married who, who's the parents, who's the elflings...of course, if there's spoilers ahead don't give them away, but everything we know already from EI 1&2, Wedding and IDB would be much appreciated. I'm a bit obsessed, but I'm getting my trees all tangled up!) Well, anyway, everything's gone a bit mad here. Waiting eagerly for Wednesday!!! You sure this wasn't (belatedly) written for that "Wedding of your Nightmares" challenge??? (check Dreamflower's "A Family Affair", and I know Virtuella had one, too) Holy Valar, lol! Ah well...off to the doctor today, wish me luck!!! Tye-melin, Kaylee Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. There was a "Wedding of your Nightmares" challenge? News to me. *grin* Keep in mind that much of my genealogy for the Vanyarin and Telerin royal families is non-canon in the sense that we are never told precisely how many children either Ingwe or Olwe had, only that they had several and only Earwen is actually mentioned. In my universe, Olwe's brood in order of birth are Lindarion, Falmaron, Earwen, Lirillo and Olwen. Lirillo is married to Arafinwe's youngest sister, Faniel. Lindarion is 6 Valarin months older than Ingwion and Ingalaure (approximately 4.75 years older). Indil, Ingwe's daughter, is younger than the twins and probably about the same age as Earwen but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, that's the royal family tree in a nutshell. I'll send you a more complete genealogy for you later. Good luck with the doctor. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Tye-melin.

Oh, and I almost forgot ... Ingwion's reaction to that outfit was dead on IMO! _When_ that ... outfit ... gets incinerated, or whatever, it would not surprise me if he is as enthusiastic about its destruction as the zaniest Reborn. Author Reply: I think most readers are in agreement with you there, Sunny. Ingwion is not only haryon to the Ingaran but he is also older than Earwen, so he can get away with saying what he did.

Yes, I expect lots of people will get rather surprised at the newest returns. Let's hope that when they get to Tirion that they won't be mobbed too badly by Nolofinwë's former subjects. Though hopefully enough of them will be sufficiently familiar with the rather erratic behaviour of the Reborn to give them space. Aracáno was really cute here! And Finrod's reaction to his worry that he did not have a wedding gift, that all three of them _were_ his wedding gift, was perfect! And Finrod is _not_ going to wear ... _that_ outfit ... in his wedding. No way at all! It really sounds like a proper costume for a bad taste party. *shudders* Author Reply: Hi Sunny. We'll see what happens when people begin to recognize Nolofinwë and his sons once they come to Tirion. Aracáno is very 'young', probably more so tha his father or brother because he's had fewer life experiences. And Finrod always rises to the occasion. As to the outfit... we'll just have to wait and see what Finrod decides to do about it, and that will be in the next chapter, so you won't have too long to wait. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Thank goodness he is no longer that Reborn elfling! Great chapter filled with nicely restrained fury. Author Reply: Well, Finrod is well past that Reborn elfling stage, thank Eru! *grin* But I don't think I would ever want to see Finrod in 'nicely restrained fury' mode myself. Way too scary. Glad you enjoyed the chapter Agape. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.

Oh my dear Eru...Fiondil m'dear, I often am in amazement at your incredable ability (Which I am beyond envious of BTW) to describe the clothing of the Elves. This time though...How on Earth did you manage to dream up such a...a...a...Vertigo inducing get up for poor Finrod? Dear Eru on High...Not even in my wildest dreams could I think up something so hideous. I hope Amarie's reason for going to Tol Eressea is in part due to her finding out what her own "Wedding Apparel" is like, guessing what Finrod's is and going for help w/a Wedding Fashion Intervention. I really, really do. Otherwise, there could be another Kin Slaying in store and I don't think the Valar want to go down that road again. And this... Finrod stepped off the platform and went behind the curtain. This time, Glorfindel joined him. No words were spoken and Glorfindel kept his expression neutral as he helped his gwador out of the garb, being careful to hang it up when what he wanted to do was chuck it down the nearest privy. Want some help doing that Glorfy? As they reached the ground floor, Eärwen put a hand out to stay her son, who simply stopped, refusing to acknowledge anyone. "I’m sorry, dear," Eärwen began to apologize, but Finrod raised a hand and stepped away from her. "No," he said and stalked off, leaving them standing there in dismay. Sador started to go after him, but Ingwion stayed him, shaking his head. "He needs to be alone right now," he said, then he gave the Queen a sour look. "Do you and Almáriel really hate your son that much, Eärwen? Is this your revenge for his leaving you all those yéni ago?" He didn’t bother to wait for an answer, if, indeed, any was forthcoming, for he grabbed Ingalaurë and Intarion and hustled them away. Neither ellon offered any protest. Wow and WTG Ingwion!! That needed to be said and he's right too. How much of the colour scheme is actually both Mothers getting their own back in some manner for the Past? Even if Earwen denied those feelings in the beginning w/the excuse of "Well...I'll go along w/it to placate Almariel and keep the peace.", it had to be there somewhere deep down. Yes, The Queen will be deeply hurt by those words, but sometimes the truth needs to be said and sometimes those words need to be given in the manner of a good hard slap across the face. What comes next will be interesting. Especially w/everything else that's going on at the moment. I can't wait for next Wednesday!! On another note...I'm sorry I haven't been reviewing like I usually do, but the last few weeks have been beyond crazy stressful around here. Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, my Dad went into the hospital w/a serious infection that was started w/his Abdominal Dialysis Catheder getting partially blocked. He just got out a week ago this past Monday, the Cathedar's out and everything is healing thankfully. We now have to wait till sometime in January to make good and sure everything's back to what it was, then the plan's to put in another Abdominal Catheder so he can go back to doing his Dialysis here at home at night again. He's got a Catheder in his shoulder artery so Hemo Dialysis can be done at the Centre where we are, but is also about an hour and a half away from us and he's got to go twice a week. That's more stressful than you'd expect due to no one in this able to drive, but the Social Worker was setting up something w/the one Service Group over here. His first treatment over here? They called here that morning to get directions and then never showed up, nor called. Thankfully my cousin was free and she took him. As it turns out, that organization doesn't have a Driver for our area. Our Social Worker, as you can easily imagine, is *not* happy and is now on the War Path w/them. Among all of *that* happening, my Dad's oldest surviving brother passed away from Liver and Pancratic Cancer. Since we're in a Rural Area and Dad had to be transferred to the Main and bigger Hospital, Mom and I decided it wouldn't do either of us any good for the both of us to go over. Mom also thought it would be easier on me as well. Thankfully I decided to stay, since I was able to represent them at my Uncle Roy's Funeral. However, among all of that stress and worry, I knew I could come here and go somewhere else for a little while thanks to you and a few others around here. So Hannon Le Mellon Nin!!! Both for this and the addition to the Vaire's Loom series. That one gave me a badly needed laugh the day you posted that one. You'll never know how much you helped me w/your writing the last Month. ((((HUGS)))) Author Reply: Hi Tigger. First of all, I hope your dad is well on the mend and I'm sorry for your loss. Second, thank you. I'm so glad to know that my stories have helped you through some difficult times. And I'm glad you hate the garb. It is as ugly as I could think to make it. If Elves have bad-hair days, this was one for Finrod. And Ingwion isn't pulling any punches, that's for sure. At any rate, we'll see in the next chapter just what Finrod ends up doing about the garb. I promise it will make you stand up and cheer. *grin* Anwyay, thanks for taking the time to read and review. I really appreciate it very much. (Hugs back)

Sweet Lord!! Does no one in Tirion own a mirror!! I'm with Ingwion on this one. How in the world would any one think yellow and green with roses would ever be a good color combination. Please, please, please let Glorifindel steal that thing and chuck it in the nearest body of water. Author Reply: Hi Eliza. Apparently not. LOL! And don't worry, we'll see what Finrod ends up doing with the gar in the next chapter... very creative, our Finrod. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

I really feel so sorry for Finrod. Hopefully, Amarie will come with reinforcements. And those colors! What is wrong with Almáriel? I'm started to hate yellow-green combinations....No Brazilians around? I can’t wait for the “surprises” to arrive in Tirion. Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. Yeah, you really have to feel sorry for the poor ellon. We'll see what happens in the next chapter with Finrod and we'll see what happens when Nolofinwë and his sons finally arrive in Tirion. Thanksk for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.
