ah, the government is reacting, as I expected. Why does the name Elwood ring some bell in me? The description perfectly fits for a certain Elf-Lord with a alike name? I´m wrong? Liked the beginning of the second part very much. Thank you. Lai Author Reply: We'll learn who Elwood is eventually, never fear, Lai. Glad you liked how this story begins. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.

Oh what fun! "Artemus Gordon" *snicker* Well, it's no worse than many names people saddled their kids with in the sixties, and a sight better than the names some poor kids get saddled with nowadays. Onward... Author Reply: Hi Dreamflower. I always thought it was a cool name myself when I was a kid watching "The Wild, Wild West". *grin* Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it.

Atya, "Artemus Gordon"? Okayyy...don't know that one, but it's probably the reason everyone who spells my Artemis' name wrong or calls her a boy does that. (Hehe. Got Artemis as a birthday present when I was 20 from a friend. I'll send you a picture of us if you want, Atto. She's adorable. :) ) Meriwether...what, like Meriwether Lewis? Heh :) I'm taking notes on this one, Atya...you won't fool me if I take notes! Okay so first we have Artemus Gordon Meriwether the not-spy who's doing spying anyway and vacations in the Bahamas. We have his Deputy Director, Madison Washburn, who is the type that even God (or the Valar? *snort*) might take orders from. (Is she perhaps a Valie or Maia? One to watch...) And her secretary, Sarah Dunlap. *ponders her motives* But the real mystery is this Ambrose Elwood/Ryan McKinley character. "Died" or disappeared 15 years ago, but hasn't aged a day in a more recent photo. Definitely an Elf then. I'd say not Amroth, as Amroth wouldn't need to change his name, would he? So one of those that Amroth's looking for. Huh. Definitely keeping a close watch on this lot. Tye-melin, Atto. Kaylee Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Well if you google "Wild, Wild West" you'll find out all about Artemus Gordon. Artemis (the Greek goddess of the hunt) is usually spelled with a "u" when it's used as a man's name, although I've also seen it with an "i". It's one of those names that have become gender-neutral over the years. As for the mystery of Ambrose Elwood/Ryan McKinley... we'll see. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much. Tye-melin.

Hurrah! I am so glad I don't have homework tonight and was browsing fanfic to read. For once I'm reading chapter one right after you posted it. I'm intrigued and looking forward to the upcoming chapters. I'm going to keep my suspicions as to which of our band of Elves was working as a spy to myself and wait to see if I'm right. This looks like it is going to be a great story and I'm going to make certain that I set aside time to keep up with your posting schedule. I really loved the first Elf Academy story and will be glad to get back to Wiseman, Alaska. (Do you have the college brochure BTW? I'd liketo contacttheir admissions office and see if my credits from Wright State will transfer...) Blessings! Edlyn Author Reply: Hi Edlyn. Yay for no homework and being able to indulge in fanfic. Glad you found this and are looking forward to more. I'm hoping the story I'm crafting will be as entertaining to everyone as the first Elf Academy. And, believe me, if I had the college brochure, I'd be applying there myself. LOL! Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it very much.

I remember reading the first part of this ages ago, and it brightened my day. (And the naming chapter with pinecone is as funny as ever!) Now I'm wondering if a certain lake will be revisted... Man, I have to reread to refresh my memory on characters! Can't wait to see how the next installment plays out! ~Yours, Alei The Leaf (I'm a better lurker than reviewer, admittedly, but I can guarantee that I'll reading. ^^) Author Reply: Hi AleiTheLeaf. I'm glad you came out of lurker-mode to let me know how much you enjoyed Elf Academy especially the naming chapter (one of my favorites) and how much you are looking forward to reading this sequel. I can promise you that a certain lake will indeed be revisted (and more than once) with unexpected consequemces. Thanks for leaving a comment and I hope you will take the time to leave a review every now and then when the mood strikes. *grin*

As you can see, I'm quite late, too. We work in a two-week-schedule, and this is the more horrid part of it, alas. Anyway, it looks very promising, even though I probably don't catch all the hints to old TV shows - we saw very different ones in my youth. But I loved the descriptions of the people who worked there. The cookie part was particularly hilarious. I'm a bit worried about Glorfindel & Co. in the north, having caught the eye of the Powers of our world and all. But it would have been too easy if it hadn't happened, I gess. Looking forward to the revamped Elf Academy. Hopefully we will still have reason to laugh.. Author Reply: Hi Soledad. Well, "The Wild, Wild West" was definitely an American western and I doubt if it ever got shown outside the US, so I don't expect everyone to get the reference, though with the internet it's easy enoug to google for the information if you want. *grin* Anyway, I'm glad you liked the descriptions of the people working in the Agency. We'll see how things go for Glorfindel and Co. as the story progresses, and while this sequel is a little darker than the first, there will still be lighter moments along the way. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

The excitement surrounding the continuation of this story is already sufficient to bring me, a lurker of two years, out into the open. I don't know if I can write any stories worthy of this site, but you will definitely be seeing me around. As others have said, I'm looking forward to meeting Ambrose! Meriwether is shaping up to be a very interesting character as well. Honestly though, I can't wait to see how Glorfindel and the others are up to... and who else may have arrived besides "Ambrose". Author Reply: Hello Lizbeth and welcome. I'm glad this story has drawn you out of lurker-mode. *grin* I look forward to reading your reviews whenever you are so inclined to leave one. Enjoy the story and thanks for leaving a comment. I appreciate it very much.
