racial memory? Never heard of that but that sounds very interesting. Oh I will quickly write about my favourite elf and maybe I´m some decendant of....oh, daydreaming again. Forget it. You are not willing to give Alex a breather? Very interesting chapter and Alex did something not even the ever balanced elves expected. Lai Author Reply: Racial memory is something Jung talked about. And why would I give Alex a break? That's no fun. LOL! Thanks for commenting, Lai. It's appreciated.

Oh boy, Alex is in trouble. They better sort him out before Farrell makes a reappearance. Or he might really be a danger to himself and people around him. I don't like Alex fearing for Derek if he would leave him alone. I loved the happy Alex creating his 'good' persona until the world came crashing down around him. Author Reply: Hi obsidianj. Yeah, it was nice to see him happy as he created a 'good' persona. I'm sure the Elves will get it all sorted out. Right now, Alex feels out of control and he knows how dangerous that can be for him and others. We'll see what he wrote about and how they hope to deal with the situation in the next chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.

Well, Atto, you had me laughing from his using Gil's real name at the beginning. Although this whole knowing Sindarin without knowing it, and the writing out "his" history in tengwar...wow. I wonder what's going on with this racial memory thing. Who was he really writing about? Looking forward to Monday! May your Easter be blessed, Atto. Tye-melin! Kaylee Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. We'll learn just what it was Alex wrote when he, Ron, Glorfindel and Amroth get together to read the translation. May you have a blessed Easter, as well, Kaylee. Just wanted to add my two cents to the mix. Could Alex' near death experiance have awakened the gene that alows him to hear the Music of Arda and that is triggering his dream and fuge states? He could also be picking up vibes from the Elves! Yes, Tavrobel is a beautiful, little seaside town, wish I could spend some time there among the Elves! Happy Easter, one more time, Huggs Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. You may be correct. Who can really say? Whatever the explanation may be, Alex is experiencing memories that aren't his and that is what needs to be addressed. Happy Easter, again.

Unconsciously writing in tengwar?!? I'd say that would be a shock to the system! Good thing Alex is as seasoned as he is or he'd have been sobbing curled up in a corner long ago - warrior indeed... Glad to see that he appears to have resolved his feelings about Amroth and be once again viewing him as a father figure - he's going to need someone he really loves and trusts. And Derek! I'd be inclined to think he can take care of himself, but he seems a bit oblivious to all that's going on and nobody should underestimate Farrell's malice. I'm sure you won't tell, but I hope he's brought into things soon, because I think he'd do everything he could to protect Alex! Author Reply: Hi Lyana. Well, automatic writing and all... and it would be a shock to anyone, but as you say, Alex's training has helped him to stay calm and not panic outright. In many ways he's as much a warrior as any of the Elves. And yes, it is nice to see that he still looks on Amroth as the father he never had in spite of the betrayal and all. Derek probably could take care of himself, however, he may not be as oblivious to what's going on as he appears to be, but you're right that they shouldn't underestimate Farrell in any way. The Elves do intend to bring Derek into things, but not just yet, however, circumstances may force their hands and he may be let in on their secret sooner than they are expecting. We'll have to see. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's very much appreciated.

Now, this is an interesting twist! To be descended from the Telcontar lineage would certainly put an interesting spin on his possible racial memories, to be certain. And glad he's thinking about Derek and Farrel's possible attempts to retaliate by an attack on him. Fascinating tale! Author Reply: An interesting twist, indeed, Larner. And I'm glad you find this to be a fascinating tale. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

I read through the chapter again, and noticed the name Alex put down for his father - it certainly makes it clear how he felt - and still feels - about Amroth/Ambrose! :-) Author Reply: I was re-reading reviews and realized I'd forgotten to respond to this one. Sorry about that, Sunny. You're absolutely right, of course. Amroth/Ambrose was the father Alex/Artemus never had. And it's interesting that he pairs him with his own mother. *grin* Thanks for the observation.

Such a nice, relaxed opening to the chapter, almost as if things were finally getting resolved, and then all insanity breaks loose once again. How on earth did Glorendil get involved, and now Alex is writing someone else's memoirs in a language he still doesn't really know? *going to go insane from suspense* I'm really liking the subtle changes in Alex's responses to the elves. He's opening up and showing much more trust, and they are responding in kind. I am surprised that Derek hasn't picked up on how focused the elves are on Alex, though, unless he's still attributing it to the near-drowing incident. As a side note, I'm with Sunny when it comes to the racial memories encoded in DNA. Whenever it comes in the story I get a little distracted because of the limitations to that explanation. I only know about Akashic records from what I just read on Wikipedia, *grin* but it seems like something similar to that would be credible, especially considering what you've written about the functioning of reborn elves. Author Reply: Hi Lisbeth. I'm glad you like the subtle changes in Alex's responses to the Elves. In spite of himself, he is opening up and showing more trust and they are responding in kind, as you say. As for Derek... well, we'll just have to wait and see. There's more to him than meets the eye. Now, as for the Askashic Records, you'll have to read my response to Sunny's review as I have no intention of repeating myself. You may not care for my explanation, but hopefully you'll just let it go and enjoy the story as written. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

Wow! Wouldn't it be awesome if we all had a little bit of the Elves in us? It will be interesting to see what happens to Alex next. He certainly has a lot to digest. Wish there really were classes in Sindarin. I'd be standing in line, ready to sign up. Author Reply: Hi Tari. That would be awesome, wouldn't it? We'll see in the next chapter how he reacts once he has heard what it is he has written. And I wish there were real Sindarin (and Queny) classes, too. Thanks for commenting. I very much appreciate it.

Poor Alex, at this point he will be expecting an exorcism. Now he has new family. Elrohir and Elladan and a protector, Glorfindel. Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. No doubt he's probably thinking he needs one right about now. LOL! And yes, he does have new family, though he doesn't realize it as yet. Thanks for reviewing. It's very much appreciated.
