I love Nate and the difference in attitude of the Mortals and the Elves. The amused Derek, the slightly irritated Alex and the cringing Elves. Author Reply: Hi Serindë. I'm glad you like Nate here and the different ways in which the Elves and Mortals respond to his presence. "Nate" is always fun to write, whatever his disguise. Thanks for taking the time to comment. It's greatly appreciated.

What I have read about Rugby so far suggests it's rather violent, yes. Not exactly my cup of tea, either. *sigh* Somehow I had a feeling Farrell would turn up, but in this case I can't say I am happy to be right. Nice how Derek went straight to defend Alex! He's really a dear. As for the loggers ... for some reason I had to think of the first attempt of the Valar to go around as Elves (with all the hilarious, if somewhat damaging consequences) and suspect that they were in truth either Valar or Maiar. Ah, it was to be expected that 'Nate' showed up again. He loves that Café, does he? His remark about what would have happened if the three ellyn died left me grinning. It would have kept him a bit busy, at least ;) Hm ... what did Farrell do with the car this time around?? Author Reply: Hi Kitty. I couldn't honestly tell you if the loggers were Maiar in disguise or just loggers who didin't like Farrell's attitude and decided to step in. In the end, it hardly matters, since the result is the same: Farrell leaving. And 'Nate' is pretty cool whenever he shows up. I think Námo gets a kick out of playing him. Thanks for reviewing. I really appreciate it.

So, Farrel is back... and nasty as ever. Loved Derek's confrontation of him. He is a true friend to Alex. Luckily for our friends, the Valar and Namo especially are looking out for them. Loved the 'incognito' dress of Nate. Derek is pretty cool when meeting Namo for the first time. Or didn't he realize who that might be and just thought there is something odd about this guy because of the reaction of the elves and Alex? Alex is in shock about meeting Farrel so out of the blue or he would have thought about being careful with his car on his own. Author Reply: Hi obsidianj. Yes, Farrell is back and as nasty as ever. Derek is pretty cool here and we see him at his best. I think he sort of knew who "Nate" was but he appears so ordinary compared to how the Maiar, especially Eönwë, appeared, that he doesn't feel as threatened by Námo's presence as he probably would be if Námo showed up in all his glory. And Alex is indeed in shock. Thanks for taking the time to read and reivew. It's much appreciated.

Since I hail from the car-bombing capital of the United States, my mind naturally jumps there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_crime_family They even made a movie last year about one such bomber. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Greene (R rating due to language in this one) Author Reply: Wow! I didn't know that about Cleveland, Agape. Very interesting place you live in. *grin*

Well, I'm glad Nate's around. I shudder at the 'car' implication. I know Alex was angry at the interference, but all he had to do was turn that key.... Yikes!!!! I would be glad for such interference. Farrell is not someone to be looked upon lightly. Author Reply: Hi Agape. Well, we don't know just what is wrong with the car and won't learn of that until the next chapter, but you're right that Alex shouldn't be too upset by the interference. Better safe than sorry, right? And Farrell is very dangerous and not to be taken lightly, as we will soon see. Thanks for commenting. It's always appreciated.

*amused* and after the alcohol comes sport XD Violent? They think NFL is VIOLENT? HAH I agree with Alex they should watch some Aussie Rules - and we certainly are an odd bunch ('s what happens when you live in a place where Everything Is Trying To Kill You and your main European influence was a bunch of convicts) And Farrell is back grrrr. I hope something extremely unpleasant happens to him soon. But Derek! Oh Derek, he's MAGNIFICENT. Steady as a rock, and eminently practical. "You’re going to sit here and finish your dinner and we’ll have dessert". Oh wow I think I kinda fell in love with him a little~ He's exactly what Alex/Ambrose needs right now, isn't he. Author Reply: Hi bookworm. Aussies are strange folk, that's for sure, but they're a lot of fun. I met a number of them while living in China. Farrell... well, we'll see what comes of him by the end of the tale. And Derek is magnificent. He's exactly what Alex/Ambrose needs right now. They're becoming more than just roomies or friends, they are truly becoming gwedyr. Thanks for reviewing. It's greatly appreciated.

Farrell's back; that's not good. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he put a bomb under Alex's car. Namo to the rescue. Again. Author Reply: No, Farrell being back is not good at all, Tar. We'll find out what he's up to soon enough. Thanks for commenting. It's much appreciated.

I am glad Namo is seeing to it that the five of them don't come his way in the immediate future! So, Farrel just happened on them, did he? Nah! Author Reply: Yeah, my thought exactly, Larner. LOL! And Námo is very good at looking out for the welfare of his favorite Elves and Mortals. Thanks for leaving a review. It's always appreciated.

I was wondering when Ratty would show up again, nasty little man! I wonder if he was a bully when he was in school, he sounds just like he could have been. It would be interesting to find out whio is feeding him information. Did Derek make a good guess at who he was or has Alex given him a description? Just who were those two 'Loggers', interested bystanders or something else? Good to see Nate again, he always looks and is stunning! Loved his little warning to the three Amigos, the Valar do love the Children especially when they are children! Poor Alex, he is going to need a long holiday when this is all over, but it looks like we still have two to three months of Fiondil angst to get through! Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. Well, you don't have to wonder any longer. *grin* You're probably right about him being a bully as a kid. He strikes me as that type. And don't forget Derek would have seen Farrell when he was pretending to be part of the ACCU accreditation committee. And Nate is always stunning. And I don't think Alex is the only one who's going to need a holiday when all this is over. LOL! Yes, there are 2-1/2 months worth of chapters yet to go, so sit back and enjoy. Thanks for leaving a comment. I appreciate it very much.

Oh, now rugby's am extremely violent game. We don't have a football team at my school, but we do have a rugby team. You can tell who's on it by the constant bruising and the fact that they are constantly wearing bags of ice. XP Oh, so Farrell shows his face once more. Now, why do I have the feeling that he will be up to his old stunts now that he knows that Alex is back... Ach, it's been a rough one for Alex lately. I don't think meeting Namo---again---is going to help that any. Is he in for another psychic break? Excellent chapter; looking forward to Friday's update! Whispy Author Reply: Yeah, ruby is pretty violent, and stupid, especially considering that they don't where protective gear. I wouldn't worry too much about Alex, Whispy. He's stronger than he looks and I think he'll be fine. I'm glad you liked the chapter. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.
