Glad to know Felicity is unharmed and safe at home. I hope she won't have too much of a trauma from what happened. Even if they didn't do anything bad, it's still a horrible experience, after all. LOL – well done, Dave, telling them off in Quenya and Sindarin! Sounds like Felicity is in love with Alex as much as he is with her. He ran off to rescue her, risking his own life, and she has no other concern than to see him. Good :) The bit about Ms. Colson left me snickering. Intimidating warrior elves would be pretty impossible, and her looks won't do anything to them, either, they outshine her anyway. And mushed her brain enough for her to forget her orders, from the looks of it. Good idea to take Felicity to see Alex, regardless of 'family only' rules. It helped a lot, too, and it will comfort her that he woke up long enough to recognise her. Author Reply: I'm sure Felicity will be fine and Dave is just so cool. He never ceases to amaze and amuse me. And poor Special Agent Colson never knew what hit her when she came up against the Twins and Glorfindel. I suspect that Felicity's presence did much to bring Alex back from his coma, knowing that she was safe again. Thanks for reviewing, Kitty. I appreciate it.

Oh good! Nice to get confirmation that Felicity is OK. I thought so, but you. Never know. And another agent on the scene. That could be interesting. Author Reply: I know everyone was worried for Felicity, so I was glad to show that as harrowing as her situation must have been, she came out of it more or less unscathed. And Special Agent Colson won't be staying long if the Elves have anything to say about it. *grin* Thanks for reviewing, Dreamflower. It's appreciated.

So, Felicity was just a lure. The guys who helped Farrel played nice this time. Not like when they beat up Zach and Derek. She might think she is fine, but the reaction sometimes sets in later. But with all the offers of help she might not take the help after she said she is fine. There is this thing of pride... Good for Dave to get one over the elves. I hope they will respect him more from now on. Agent Colson met her match. You cannot convince elves with looks. They always look better ;-). Author Reply: You are confusing the guys who hurt Zach and Derek with these guys who helped spring Farrell from jail. The ones who hurt Zach and Derek are still behind bars. The ones who kidnapped Felicity are a different bunch altogether. I'm sure Felicity will be fine, though it'll take a while. Reaction may indeed set in later but she has lots of friends to help her through it. Dave is too cool for words and he is continually surprising even me. And Agent Colson has indeed met her match. No one can outdo the Elves in the looks department. *grin* Thanks for reviewing. It's much appreciated.

Very odd. There's something that doesn't add up, between Farrell and his helpers, and then Agent Colson thrown into the middle. Glad to reach the hospital, that the (not) girlfriend is well, that Alex is responsive, that Dave is on the ball, that Glorfindel seems to be feeling better, and that Ron and Holly have something to look forward to. Probably missed something, but am distracted and in haste. Still, looking forward to the next installment. Got nice healthy Paleo style food (meat and veggies, nicely seasoned) all stir-fried up and ready for the buffet at the Cliff House. Author Reply: Hi Lindelea. Odd indeed and probably something that will never be fully explained, but much of real life is not so why should it be here? There certainly is a lot going on in the chapter, that's for sure, and I think you covered all the bases. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

So Farrell's cohorts weren't as crazy as he was. That's good to know. Is Terri Colson related to Phil Colson? ~Eruherdiriel Author Reply: Hi Eruherdiriel. Actually Phil's last name is spelled "Coulson", and no there's no relation. They're not even in the same universe. *grin*

Is not anyone else wondering if it really is safe yet, if the ones who helped Farrel escape are still at large? And out to nab Alex? Might they not still try to grab others of his friends? Just what is THEIR agenda? Are they from the "DARK SIDE" of the Agency, or are they really some more sinister force. I do not think we are really "out of the woods" yet. Not in one of YOUR stories, we aren't! Author Reply: I'm sure they're all wondering about the guys who were helping Farrell, but they would have no motive to grab Alex or anyone else at this point, Demeter. Farrell may well have told them that once they released Felicity, they should leave. So, who knows? Whether we're "out of the woods" where Farrell is concerned or not remains to be seen. A nice healing chapter. I had to laugh with the other readers at Special Agent Colson. Glorfindel only paid her back by using his looks and voice to do what she was trying to do in using her looks to get her way. Only on an elf it would be to the nth degree. She never had a chance! They really don't need any more agencies wandering around Wiseman and causing more havoc. Luckily, Farrell will stay in Wiseman and will be safer than if he were in Fairbanks where the Agency would have access to him. I know, paranoid thinking. It was another lighthearted moment when Dave is able to handle the elves. I am sure he was one the first ones to sign up for language classes when they were available by the elves and now he can use them to great advantage. They may grump, but the elves will give him the edited elf version of the rescue to Dave. He will be the one to dot the I's and cross the T's to make sure that all that is happening will come to a good end for the elves and the citizens of Wiseman. I like the way you have portrayed Felicity in this chapter. Comparing Felicity to Galadriel had me chuckling. By all appearances, she is handling the kidnapping, but there are signs like her nervousness and anger that point to a long session somewhere along the line of letting it all out. Maybe she will take Alex's solution and go out in the woods and scream. Lynda, I am up to cleaning the Cliff House with you. With Labor Day (American holiday) coming up, there is sure to be a last cook out to celebrate the last hurrah of summer even though it looks like the temperatures are not dropping out of the upper 90s here. Will bring lots of non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy as we wait for Monday. Have a good weekend Fiondil. Author Reply: Hi rikki. You're not too paranoid because they all agree that they don't need more official notice than they already have. Agent Colson really didn't know that her mission was doomed before it ever got started with the Elves involved. And Dave is pretty cool. You're right that he was probably in the very first classes for both languages and he's going to make sure that all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed to bring this case to a close. I'm glad you like how Felicity is portrayed here. She has her own story though we probably won't learn any of it until later. I'm sure she'll be in a screaming therapy soon enough. It'd do her good. Thanks for reviewing. Enjoy the holiday weekend yourself.

D'oh! Ahh yes, that makes it clear why Felicity didn't get hurt. And that Derek got notified. Good all around. Apparently I had a brain-wire short out this morning when I read this chapter the first time. Thanks! Author Reply: No problem, Kevana. Early mornings aren't always a good time for reading and comprehending when your body is still waking up. *grin* I'm glad I was able to clarify things for you.

Good enough, then. I still wish to hear the interrogation of Farrell. Author Reply: We may never hear the interrogation of Farrell if he remains in a coma, Larner. We'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's appreciated.

So, for the last week, either: a. I was too busy to write a review b. the site didn't work for me c. my internet connection didn't work. Go figure lol I've always had a soft spot for David Michaelson and he gave me quite a laugh here. I loved his reactions to the Elves. I would not put it beyond him if he even practiced these phrases beforehand just in case he would need them. Either way, it worked out well for showing a. how he's not one to mess with and b. earning the Elves respect while doing so. Like Atar said, Felicity was fine and able to take care of herself (but then, why should we not believe Him?). It's interesting how Felicity thinks she's been through worse. It's interesting she's reminding Finrod of his sister, I think Felicity on her own is a force to be reckoned with too, and she'd better be if she's going to stick around with Alex. I also loved Galadriel being mentioned on a personal note: as part of an early birthday present, I got myself a Galadriel Barbie doll (I guess the little girl inside me never grew up) and spend the whole evening yesterday fixing up her hair. So I was pretty much in a Galadriel mood. Like most others, I loved the FBI agent with the Elves scene. First of all, I think Terri Colson makes a huge mistake in underestimating the Wiseman police, who are more than capable of dealing with Elves, let alone anything else. Unfortunately for her, the Twins are unimpressed with her antics, well she's not the least unimpressed with them! And if the Twins were not enough, there's also Glorfindel to deal with *snickers* Off you go now and off she goes. Still, it sounds like Terri Colson could be a potential source of further trouble. It;s good to hear Alex is at least responding to the voice of his non-girlfriend. And it seems Ron and Holly are in for some good time lol Author Reply: Hi FV_Whisper. Life happens. Glad you're back online. Dave has grown to be one of my favorite (mortal) OCs in the Elf Academy universe and we'll be seeing more of him as the story continues. Felicity has her own story though at the moment she's reluctant to share, but maybe someday. The FBI and Elves scene is my favorite in this chapter. I had a lot of fun with it. Agent Colson never knew what hit her. LOL! Thanks for reviewing. I appreciate it.
