| This is Ellie, one of Fiondil's betas. Alassiel, his other beta, and I started trying to track down Fiondil after he failed to post Monday morning. We learned from his local sheriff Wednesday afternoon that Fiondil was found dead in his home Wednesday morning. As of yet, the authorities do not know for the sure the time of death, but they think it was Sunday night or Monday morning. He died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. I am guessing that Nilmandra has gotten into his account and has begun posting his remaining chapters of EA3 that he had uploaded here. Alassiel and I, between us, appear to have the first 61 and a half chapters of EA 4. We are hoping that Fiondil's next of kin will send us the betaed files, but I do not know if his next of kin have even been found yet. In any case, once we find some peace from our grieving at our beloved Fiondil's passing, we may well try to see if we can get EA 4 out for you all to see. | Same here. I hope you're doing okay and that there is a not too serious reason for you not updating. Don't get me wrong, feel free to update in any time you like, but you're like the most constant fan-fic updater I know of, so there must be a good reason for not updating on monday and I hope there's nothing wrong. | |

| I am bitten with curiosity as to what exactly Arafinwë did to so incense Eärwen. And he spent the equivalent of sleeping on the couch for a month! Eager ears want to hear more about this unfortunate incident... Amroth was being a bit stupid although, to be fair, his judgment was probably clouded by his spiritual exhaustion. Also, it's his first pregnancy so he's a new hand at this. Thankfully, Elrond's own experience with multiple, gestating Elflings enabled Amroth to be persuaded to accept help. The discussion about how easy the interaction between Elves and Mortals makes it clear just how full of starch and conservative Amanian society is. A chapter or two ago we were told that Nielluin, who is older now than Galadriel was in "Lord of the Rings", led a highly structured and supervised life back in Eldamar. Can't wait to see the current state of Valinórean society. | |
