Farewell and namarie Fiondil best beloved. How is it possible I feel so much like I know you through only reading your stories and replies to the reviews? I've never seen you but I feel like I've really lost a friend. I HAVE lost these people you wrote about because no one will ever write them the same way you did.😢 Good luck to you in your travels Mellon nin! We all love you still! BTW, is there any way to see Fiondil embroidery? He was so proud of it and I always wanted to see some. Thank you for posting the rest of his story. The Dude abides! Diana.

That's a neat trick just dissolving the bullet. Save a lot of nasty surgery, but I guess this is for emergencies only considering the strain it put on the healers and the support they needed. Unfortunately, this shows the darker side of humanity we all like to push under the carpet. Poor Ingwe! He goes to a wedding and has to see what humans are capable of. Not that elves are not capable of evil, but he is more familiar with how they act, and I think everything goes slower. Human emotions can turn on a dime and they perfected the weaponry over the millennia. Ingwe knew intellectually what humans are capable of, Arafinwe and Finrod will have told him the stories, But hearing stories that are long past and being confronted with reality are two different things. I love the idea of breakfast. I will bring cheeses, quark and deli meats.

Thank you for continuing to update the story but it does not seem the same without Fiondil. The words are his but something is missing and the thing that is missing is indescribable but still felt. For years, I looked forward to Friday and Monday mornings because of Fiondil. Reading Fiondil's work in the darkness of my room was my special time and a time of solace, comfort and peace before having to deal with "real" life. The tragedy of Fiondil's death is that he died alone without any comfort or anyone to acknowledge his last breath. It does not seem right that one who gave so much received so little at the end.

It is so wonderful to see this still being updated, many thanks to everyone involved! I hope things quiet down for a little while, I think Glorfindel needs to regain some equilibrium. (((((((hugs))))) to everyone.

What an initiation to the worst of mortal potential for the Valinorean Elves, and what a memory for Ingwe to know. Yes, it would indeed bring back that past horror and feelings of loss. I rejoice that Lord Namo and Finrod together were able to turn aside Daeron's death and keep those who'd come so armed from being guilty of murder. Poor Michaelson! Not the night to wish for, certainly. Love how Eonwe dealt with him.

So Peterson's mob tried to get into the encampment also and do damage. Thankfully the maiar were there to protect the elves from harm. I am concerned that they will continue to stir up trouble for the elves unless something scares them into stopping. The elves are beginning to stress out. I will be glad when the encampment gets back to Aman before something else happens. The fact that Dave got the list of people who attacked Elholland and has his detectives calling in people to be questioned about their actions in the mobs is going to really set off some reactions. Fiondil's stories have many instances of where the events in the story seem to mimic the events in real life. The mob mentality here seems very real to life and I am wondering how Glorfindel will handle this additional stress. But most of the time I have enjoyed how the author has come up with solutions to the problems that exist in his stories. How I miss Fiondil's replies to our reviews. The virtual wake was lovely, a lot of people dropped by to pay their final respects. There is still a lot of food and drink here for people who want to visit. I now view the Cliff House as a living memorial to a wonderful author who kept me looking for the next chapter to his stories. And I still enjoy reading how others interpret what is happening in these stories.

Poor Michaelson, I am sure he is glad he is on the side of the "good" and not the bad guys; but I am also sure he would like to know what is going on in his little world. Glad Darren is ok, hopefully the others will be too (sometimes mental hurts are much worse than physical hurts.)

Reactions are tense and fraught. Considering the seriousness if the situation, no one is overreacting; it's going to take a while for everyone to assimilate all the events. And or course Ingwe is having a bit of a shock; he's never encountered this kind of thing. Poor Dave! What a lot of headaches he'll have. I hope he throws the book at the rioters. But I do hope that the melted bullet won't complicate the case against whoever did the shooting.

I applied to become a story author here almost a year ago, Zillah the Scribe, and I'm still awaiting permission! Hopefully, this year, this Web site will commence accepting new story authors once more. [hint, hint, moderators!] I am so glad that Daeron is going to recover! It would have been a tragedy if he had ended up being sent to the Halls of Mandos because of a bloodthirsty mob. It'll be interesting to see how Dave Michaelson ends up dealing with the perpetrators of this murder attempt.
