| Was reading this one to the Grandson, and he couldn't take any more guffawing. It's still as hilarious the first, second, and fifth times I read it. You do have a way with drawing predicamates! | It's been a while since I read this one. Still love it, with Merry and Pippin having to contemplate having to beg for help from Merry's rival and enemy. | LOL, caught in their own trap! That was priceless, as I'm sure Garrett will agree when he comes out in the morning. After he finishes rolling on the floor with laughter that is. | Perfect! Very appropriate that Merry and Pippin get caught in their own snare! I like that Merry isn't going to beg but Pippin is ready to do a little begging in order to get down! I think I would too if I was hung by my ankles! Thank you! Author Reply: I figure that Merry has too much pride to beg for much of anything, but Pip might be able to charm his way out of this mess. | ROTFLS (the 'S' is for silently, so I don't wake up the whole house!) I can just picture this! The funniest, and yet truest part of this was Pippin's solemn faith in his Merry. Why of *course* Merry would know how to get them down--his Merry knows *everything* doesn't he? How old are they in this one? Author Reply: This one didn't really have ages attached when I wrote it. I knew that they would both be at least teens, but I hadn't decided. When I moved it here to post it, I decided the ages then. I see by your post above this that you found the note at the top of the chapter. LOL I do that all the time myself! Thanks for reading! | |
