Impressions  by Linda Hoyland 59 Review(s)

You know I like this drabble - the image of feline Arwen looking as if she's about to pounce on Gandalf; and the idea of an impudent cat pulling on the wizard's beard, are marvelous.

Here was her true home, safe in her husband’s arms.

What a happy ending for them both. :)

Ah--loved reading this one again, as Arwen finds herself perhaps unwillingly having to trust her beloved to another she's come to know and love well. The Maia may be limited in what he is allowed to do, but the old Man who accompanies him--he will do what he can!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm sure Gandalf finds it hard not being able to use his power.I always think it must have troubled him not to be able to help Faramir,Merry and Eowyn.

They say a picture can paint a thousand words. i think you have achieved this here with your drabble. Just a short little scene spoke volumes. I liked it a lot.
