I liked how you gave Legolas a special role in bringing back the peredhil to life. Joyful conclusion of a beautiful story. Great work. Thank you.

Author Reply: I´m so glad you like Legolas´ interaction. He´s a special elf after all, isn´t he? Thank YOU for reviewing. I really appreciate every comment. Lai

Didn't think they would make it back across the river, but Elrond has Vilya to help and that's a good thing. Let's hope that after they've rested they'll finally make it back, though to what remains to be seen, doesn't it? *grin*

Author Reply: right, at least they have managed the river. It´s really time to return. Only one chapter to go. Thank you so much for staying with me and for your reviews. Lai

Legolas sees himself as the weak link in their gestalt but I suspect he will be the key to getting Elrond and his sons back. One cliffhanger after another, Lai. You're worse than I am *LOL* Looking forward to how this works.

Author Reply: it´s not hard to figure out that your guess may be right. I´m glad you are still following my story and hope to see you at the next cliff´s edge. LOL. Thank you for reviewing. Lai

A desperate choice the twins make. Looking forward to see how they and Elrond return to living again.
Happy New Year.

Author Reply: Hi Minuial, yes indeed, a bitter decision but will they have the power to return? A happy new year to you too. Thank you for reading and reviewing. Lai

And so the plot thickens and there is doubt as to what lies on the other side of the river. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author Reply: if crossing the river was the right choice? We will see! The next chapter is on the way. Thank you so much for the review. Lai

Finally got a chance to start reading this. Great story so far. I'm right at the edge of my seat wondering what's going to happen next and wondering how the men were able to do what they did without anyone being the wiser and everyone getting injured or lost! Looking forward to the next chapter and the next chapter after that and... well, you get the picture. *grin*

Author Reply: Hello Fiondil, I´m so glad you found the time to read my story and even happier that you like it and that you are eager to get more. Sometime events are set in motion not even the wise can forsee and stop. I promise to keep you on the edge of your seat. Thank you so much for reviewing. Lai

I am ashamed to admit I have been a "lurker" recently, not a reviewer. I have been following this story, tho. It is very different to see Elrond portrayed as being the one in need of aid, instead of always the all-confident healer of others. So, Grandma and Grandpa to help, perhaps? Again, it is fascinating to see a scene in which she is not all-knowing and all powerful! And she asks "the young prince" to help her? This does get interesting. Depending on whose commentary you read, Legolas is either suppossed to be no any older than the twins and Arwen, or up to half a thousand years or so younger. I am sure that at this point, "young" Legolas is indeed wondering how he could help the Aman born Queen of the Golden Wood. In my opinion, he was chosen for the Fellowship because he had the openness and acceptance of youth. He embraced new experiences and people. Perhaps this openness can help him to reach his friends in places even She can not? I will be watching to see what you do next!

Author Reply: Hello demeter d, I´m glad you have become a reviewer on my story and appreciate your thoughtful comments very much. Yes, I´m sure it is a bit disturbing to see Elrond in need but even he is as vulnerable as all others. This is the important lesson all family members forgett from time to time and have to lear here. And yes, I agree with you that Legolas was choosen because of his youth. He is often portrayed as the young, the unexperienced but I think he´s the one who can make the difference and this will be his role in my story. Anyway I´m glad you like what I write and hope to see you at my next chapters. Thank you so very much. Lai

Requesting More ... More.. More...! I been a fan for a while now and have always liked a good read. Now I'm getting irritated because I want more of the story... No fault of your own, though. Keep it up and thank you for writing it.

Author Reply: I´m so happy you consider my story a good read. Don´t worry you will get more and more...I hope I can irritate you further. Thank YOU so much for reading and reviewing. Lai

Hi. Very interesting and intriguing chapter. Now you made me curious about that river and what lies on its shores. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author Reply: Hi minuial, I´m glad it worked to make you curious for the next chapter. Elrond should have really thought twice bevor crossing the river, but wait and see. Thank you so much for reviewing. Lai.
