I truly enjoyed this set of stories. It's a compelling gap filler that shows Aragorn's development as a leader, and the rich characters of his family around him. Thank you.

Ah, it has been far too long since I've read a good Halbarad, Aragorn and Gandalf fic... such banter! Such... rude awakening. XD Shame on you, Gandalf. That's a king you just kicked in the stomach.

Looking forward to the rest!

Author Reply: Gandalf is such a nightmare, and yet (or maybe because of that), I love him deeply! xD. Thank you for reading!

Great end for the great story. I love it that you added the choice of the name - really nice detail. :)

I don't know your plans for writing, but it would be interesting to see Adanel's visit to Rivendell... *grins*

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed this story (and the name! That was a fun detail to include).

And funny you should mention...I don’t know when next I’m going to have time to devote to a full story, but next up on my list is DEFINITELY Adanel in Rivendell! :D

No! I can't believe it's finished!

This was a great series, my dear Suzelle.

Thank you and hope to see more of your Elves in the future!

“It is a lonely man who wanders unknown paths and calls the stars his home. Even those will be strangers to you before the end,” Gandalf said. “I would have you walk beside a friend, for a time. One who understands where you come from, and what you have still to do. ”

He held his hand out, and Aragorn clasped it.

What an incredible friendship, capping off a wonderful chapter.

Hi Suzelle,

Loving your updates. Thanks for replying to my comment.

I have read your previous stories concerning the Elves of Imladris and that was why I was asking if you could include Revanne and Braenor for example in your future stories.

Thanks.

This is a marvelous and insightful conversation between Halbarad and Nethril. They sense that the Dunedain are "fighting the long defeat", as Galadriel would say, and that something un-looked for is coming whether they're ready for it or not. Aragorn must be feeling the same, hoping that he's up to an impossible task on which so much depends.

the thin strand of mithril impossibly smooth within the silver

It's details like that that help give your story such weight.

Author Reply: Your reviews have meant so much to me as I've been posting this story...thank you, thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying it <3

A difficult situation, and each person has good points - ones that can't easily be argued.
Looking forward for more. :)

I am enjoying this story so much. I love anything about the young Aragorn and this is one of the best I have read. Enjoying the additions of Gandalf and Elrond. Those Dunedein women are feisty too.

Looking forward to the next chapter!
