Sons of Fellowship  by Conquistadora 12 Review(s)

I like the relationship you show between Legolas and Thranduil. Legolas is respectful but stands up for what he believes is right. I was struck by the line that said that war had changed them both. I wonder if Legolas had become less tolerant of narrow concerns now that he's faced catastophe and seen Arda barely survive it.

Poor Gimli. He must feel like a fish out of water!

Thranduil may indeed find Legolas more cosmopolitan than he would like, but I imagine he can get used to it now that there is no immediate threat at home.

Poor Gimli is along for the ride now!

LOL! Oh, nice! But poor Gimli! They'll be braiding ribbons into his beard next. And I know Thranduil's problem - I have a terrible time resisting when my girls do that pleading look on me. I enjoyed the change of pace of this chapter and the lightheartedness. Clearly Legolas is relaxing now he's at home - it's nice to see him so happy.

Enjoy it while it lasts; he's still rather frazzled, though he is trying to relax. Trying to find a few quiet moments before they keep him up all night. ;)

With this subtle elvish makeover they're giving Gimli, I'm beginning to dread how it will be reciprocated in Erebor. :D
