| I like the sense of an extensive society that you give here. We see the young lords and know that Legolas has many friends and relatives. We see the trophies from past battles and know that this society has extended in time. And we see Thranduil still affected by long past events. This feels like a dense world and that's a good thing. Author Reply: Oh, good! I've been striving for density without dwelling on it specifically. And that seems to be something you would know all about, if anyone would. :) | |
