| Oh, GW! I do *so* love your Merry and your Pippin! They are so formidable together! This whole thing is so hilarious, from the breathless run at the beginning to Merry's conclusion at the end. I love Pippin being so very Pippish--the poor adults never really stood a chance, and Merry's rescue was masterful. And I just *loved* this part: Mister Sandhills and his friends give me a chuckle and a look that says that they now find Pippin absolutely adorable. Everyone does sooner or later so I am hardly surprised. Including you, Merry, though you may not want to admit it! LOL! Author Reply: Those adults never knew what hit them once they refused to listen to Pippin about his squirrels. Rude of them, really. LOL I had fun letting Merry tell this one. For some reason, I enjoy it when he narriates. Thanks for reading and I am glad that you got a laugh or two out of it. | |
