| Oh GW! How funny! It's the discussion from Filling In the Corners! I love Pippin's whole upbeat attitude, and the way he finally cheers Merry up! And you are the Mistress of Banter! The whole conversation was thoroughly delightful! “I’ve been overlooked and stepped on before,” Pippin said frowning. “Several times in fact.” “I never stepped on you!” Merry objected. “I didn’t mean you had,” Pippin said. “Your father did once, but I don’t think you have.” Pippin cocked his head to one side and seemed to ponder this question. Thank goodness I had finished my drink, because that just made me splutter! Really, you should post a beverage warning on your fics! I love it that Pippin was the reasonable one in this conversation! There really is such a neat give and take between the two of them! Author Reply: LOL I actually made a 'drink warning' icon and put it on the post over on LJ after reading your comment so now, too late for this story I realize, there is a drink warning in place. So glad it made you laugh and that you were finished with your beverage at the time. I rec'd Filling up Corners on my LJ because of all of the help that I got when I posted over there on this subject. I am actually planning to write a second story on this subject that will take place during the quest and it will use more of the responses that I received on Gryffinjack's site!
