| Oh my gosh, that last chapter gave me quite a scare for a moment! This was a very good, unique story. | I know this story has been around awhile, but I have only just discovered it. I enjoyed your original verse for Tom to greet "the Brandybuck and the Ringbearer with. it is just like his verses in the book.Am enjoying the story very much so far. Author Reply: Oh, thank you for your comment! Sorry to be so late in replying; somehow I missed seeing it until today. Jodancingtree and I had quite a conversation on Tom's verses, once... I was "helping" her with one of her chapters, and it turned out that *I* was the one who was helped when my turn came to write Tom! | |

Larner recommended me to you, and I didn't think anyone could be so cruel as to take Frodo in that way, but well...you were very convincing! Good work! Is there a sequel? | I loved this story! I'm so glad Frodo had a happy ending. I was so sad when I read the ending of Return of the King...I wanted everyone to live happily ever after. And in your story, they did! ^^ The last line was just brilliant, by the way. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories. :) Author Reply: Oh, thank you! | Yay! This is a great story so far! I can really see your loyalty to the books, just in the way the characters talk. It makes me want to read the books again...and I love that pun at the end! It took me a minute, but after everyone was laughing I understood it. ^^ And Sam's character is perfect. And I think I'll shut up and go on reading the next chapter. :) | |

| This was excellent! Purely wonderful! It had a bit of everything; drama, humor, excitment, angst....With Aragorn/Strider, Merry, Pippin, Sam, Tom Bombadil, Rosie....And all put together flawlessly! | Revisiting Rivendell without being chased by Black Riders sounds a rather pleasant thing to do. Especially with Bilbo's / Frodo's birthday to celebrate. I hope Celeborn has some scheme in mind! | |
